Titos Asian Grill Indian – PrestwichThis was our third visit to Gio’s and it certainly wasn’t the same as our last two visits. We ordered a plain garlic bread, a tomato garlic bread & a bruschetta for our starters. The tomato garlic bread and bruschetta were fine but the plain garlic bread had no taste whatsoever and had a huge bubble in it where the bread had risen a lot which was really hard and burnt so we asked for it to be taken off the bill. We then ordered two chicken cacciatore with fries and veg, a pizza mafiosa and a pollo picante for our mains. The chicken cacciatore came in a watery sauce and the fries and veg came under the chicken so the fries were soggy and the portion of fries was tiny also. The pizza was fine but I had to send my pollo piccante back as it was totally bland and had no spice in it whatsoever! The chef remade it and the second time it was how it should have been the first time. It was £6.25 for a 330ml bottle of beer and £3.50 for a Diet Coke which was thought was overly expensive. All in all, it cost us £158 which included a 10% tip which supposedly goes to the staff (not sure how that works when paying on card?) Unfortunately it wasn’t worth paying that amount and we won’t be returning again as it seems like Gio’s are now more concerned about making a profit than serving good quality food to their paying customers.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreFirst visit since the change of ownership. Had several visit over previous year and could see a fall in standards. The new team have refreshed the Dhoom Dhaam nd revitalised the menu. We both had sheek kebab starters, a nice spicy start. I then had chicken Rogan Josh while my wife had chicken Balti, both were excellent. Service was efficient and drinks reasonable.
Dhoom Dhaam – DidsburyThis place is amazing food wine and atmosphere is perfect my husbands favourite restaurant we have been coming for many years and it gets better every visit Eric and his team most welcoming and cannot do enough for you
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichBeen here a couple times now, food is always excellent. Service is great and cocktails are fab!
La Sentidos Loca – WiganFantastic food. Amazing atomosphere. Me and my partner love coming here. Its our favourite place to come for our date nights
La Sentidos Loca – WiganFantastic food as always. Brilliant staff and the best pornstar martinis we’ve ever had!
Panama Hattys Grill – PrestwichThe restaurant is fine and a good meal is guaranteed, however on our evening it was very noisy inside, which made talking difficult.
Fat Loaf – SaleBrilliant never had a bad meal here.Service excellent, food fabulous.
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichWe love Panama Hattys Grill, it is our first and only choice for a meal out, beit a special occasion, a family meal or a date night. The team there really make it feel special whatever the occasion (Sean and Ari are a real credit to the brand!) and the food is always exceptional. We always say we’ll try something new but end up going back to a couple of classic dishes which even after all these years are still delicious. I highly recommend Panama Hatty to anyone asking for a local place for Brunch, lunch or dinner.
Panama Hattys Grill – PrestwichGreat food. Brilliant staff.
La Sentidos Loca – WiganLocation, food, staff, all more than brilliant, we had a great time... 1 negative is that the outdoor seating is wonky and could do with renewing..
The Rising Moon – HydeLovely restaurant, attentive staff. Food is amazing. Add it to your places to each in Manchester list.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreA new find! Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. Drinks a bit expensive though but good prices otherwise. Will return!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreExcellent food and service, lovely restaurant.
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichBeen here numerous times now and every time it has been amazing. The food really is lovely portions are very good the only issue is you wait a bit longer for food at peak times but this is to be expected when the food is so lovely. This is definitely my number one choice in Hyde
The Rising Moon – HydeThis was our 2nd visit and was even better than the 1st. Varied menu. Food is very tasty and portions are incredible (took a doggy bag home for the following night). Service also really good and friendly. Definitely recommend.
