Very nice food, interesting menu and relaxing atmosphere

what a beautiful place it looks small from the outside but its really spacious and immaculate the food was just as beautiful me and my son had lamb i had the ribs he had donermeat both plates were plentiful also service with a smile i would recommend to anyone i will also be going back soon

Always great food and and value for money. Service is great and they handle our allergy issues (nuts) camly and professionally.

I am a frequent patron of The Rising Moon and keep returning because both the food and the service are always of a consistently high standard. I would, and often do, recommend a visit to this lovely pub/restaurant without hesitation.

We have often been to L'Aquila and had pasta or pizzas, which have always been great. We went this week and had steak and the prawn and scallop skewer. Both were amazing. Service a little slow at the beginning considering it was midweek, but did improve on the food service and we'll worth the wait. The waitress was great, chatty, but not overdoing it. Perfect night out

First time at L’Aquila what a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere and very pleasant staff. The food was first class and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. This will be a first visit of many for us

Incredible drink and food with huge portions, great atmosphere and brilliant service.

Visited on Wednesday for the new menu and the meal offer, we weren’t disappointed ☺️ such amazing gammon and pineapple, matched with a lovely wine. We were sooo full that we didn’t want a desert but couldn’t resist the homemade jam roly poly with custard! It was truly amazing and so tasty. We’ll defo be back. Atmosphere and staff are second to non ☺️

Went for lunch with my wife and my female cousin. We were all impressed with the menu choices and not disappointed with the food itself. In reality the whole mealtime was pleasant, from the greeting on arrival until our departure.’

If you haven’t tried this place, you should! Great service and great food.

We made a last-minute booking for tea on Tuesday for 4 of us, I had to delay the booking and this was not a problem. My husband and I had cheese and onion pie with chips, I had peas and my husband had beans, my daughter had the curry and rice with half rice had chips and her partner had the lasagne swapping the garlic bread for chips for just an extra 50p. All the food was very tasty, well cooked and reasonably priced.

The food was nice, nothing special, service was good, but very very small portions and very over priced!! The website pricing is not updated & the ‘hench plate’ is not ‘hench’. Smallest portion of the mains - It’d probably be better value for money to order the mains & sides separately!

visited for a lunch very last minuet. It was a lovely visit staff were great food and drink excellent.
