Mario’s Pizzeria Ristorante – RochdaleOur latest visit was for a family meal on Wednesday. I booked online and mentioned in the ‘comments’ section that it was my sons birthday. On arrival, we were taken to our table which they had decorated themselves with a few birthday banners and some table decorations which was a genuinely lovely touch. Desert was brought out with a candle, dimmed lights and birthday music! Food as always, incredible. Service, superb. This is an absolutely fantastic, family run restaurant, probably the best authentic Italian restaurant in South Manchester!
Gnammy Italy – StockportWent for a pre theatre menu , Friendly service, nice food, reasonably priced no complaints !! I recommend
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreFood was average, expensive for what you got, didn’t think it was worth the price of set menu. Service was good until waiting for the bill which made us miss our train. Overall ok experience.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreFabulous food, great service and amazing choice. We loved our evening at Amma’s canteen.
Amma’s Canteen – ChorltonWe had an enjoyable pre theatre lunch at Gio!! Food and service excellent no complaints!! Thank you Gio
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreWhat a treat!!! Have been looking forward to trying the new menu, we weren’t disappointed . Delhi lamb, chicken fajitas, cod fish cake and grandads sausage bake for mains, absolutely delicious. Flavoursome and not skimpy with the portions. We had such a good night, great food and great staff.
Crowded House – BuryCame with friends for a meal on Tuesday evening. The staff who waited on were very friendly , but the meal was really only average. There were only 2 other parties in at the time, bit we had to wait a long time for both first and main corses. I had a starter with pancetta which was hard as it had been overcooked and so difficult to chew. The main course was hake which was cooked well, brut the dish as a whole had far too much oil. Reading other reviews it seems hit and miss as to whether the meal is exceptional or average depending on the day. Has put me off going back unfortunately.
Il Mulino – WiganHad an amazing evening for my birthday meal! The food was unique and delicious, drinks were fun and tasty, the staff were faultless and were very patient with our large booking - they were very accommodating and helpful! Very good value for money, just wish I could have eaten more! Could not recommend more, we will be back very soon!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreWe waited 25 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. A somewhat bad start as we had to stand. The food was excellent as was presentation, quality plus well priced.
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichOur Sunday evening meal of starters and main was really good and we will go there again. Not too crowded but pleasantly full - the restaurant and me after too :-) And this is one of the few places I can now get a tomato juice!
Cafe Italia – BoltonWe discovered "Art Of Tea" as we drove past it on a midweek day in late February 2022. We found a place to park and called in, it was a pleasant surprise quirky little tea room with a library situated at the back of the shop. It was busy with a mixture of students and family's but managed to find a table for two. It was lunch time so we choose the Scrambled Egg on Sourdough and Poached Eggs on sourdough washed down with an English breakfast Tea and a cappuccino. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere a warm welcome from our waitress (didn't get her name). We enjoyed it so much we booked for the Saturday with 2 of our friends. Again we was not disappointed. We booked in for 4:30 for the teatime menu. Its a small menu though they do chef specials. What a great evening we had, food was excellent, wine and beer chilled we left around 8:30 pm See you again very soon.
