My brother and I brought our mum out for a birthday meal on Friday 29th and had a lovely time. Service and food were great - my only criticism being the salted caramel espresso martini tasted so salty (I think too much salted caramel was added) but the staff also accommodated us when we requested cosmos, that aren't on the menu, so we decided not to say anything at the time. We'll still be back again for more :)

Wonderful food. Great Service however bill was presented before we asked for it quickly followed by card machine which we hadn't asked for as we had not finished our drinks. Asked the waiter to come back later. After 10mins he appeared again. We paid the bill as we felt pressured to do so even though there were plenty of tables available and no queues. We felt rushed & for this reason we will not return.

Lovely environment with a great atmosphere, friendly service if a little slow, The quality of the food was good and there was a lot to like about the overall experience. Our only criticism was that several of the dishes were quite heavily salted, which unfortunately overpowered some of the flavours. It feels like such a simple thing to adjust, and if they dialled the seasoning back a little, the food would be even better. We’ll definitely give it another go, as there was plenty to enjoy, and hopefully the kitchen will ease off on the salt next time.

Such a lovely evening. Staff were so, so friendly and welcoming, food was delicious, with very generous portion sizes. Fab cocktail happy hour, great margaritas! Our family of four had a lovely meal and all enjoyed the food. Would definitely come back again. Thank you!

We have used the rising moon Matley lane a few times. Our last visit was to remember happy memories of our dad 27:05:2026 Well I must say the four of us really enjoyed our food I had sea bass it was delicious and cooked to perfection. My brother had fish chips mushy peas and bread he really enjoyed his the fish was battered to perfection. One of my sisters had lamb shank and it was delicious. And my other sister had steak pie and really enjoyed that. The service was very quick and the staff were lovely making sure they matched our needs. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place
