Fat Loaf – SaleIf it wasn't for the grey rainy Manchester skies dining at Anatolian Grill is like a two hour holiday in Turkiye. Yet again very attentive staff, excellent food and matching regional wines. Regular visits see the hot mixed mezes followed by a sizzling platter washed down with a bottle of Yakut. At the end of the meal coffee is switched out for Saleep a warming cinnamon based drink that compliments the kadiyif wonderfully.
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichHad a lovely meal last night , great atmosphere, great food , fantastic service, we will be back soon
La Sentidos Loca – WiganWe had a great meal again. The starter was very nice, really enjoyable. The main meal was very tasty. Mario provided a great service. He gave us a very nice lemon Italian apéritif to drink, for us to try. This was very nice, a very great service. Visiting Mario's is always very great. The service is above expectation. We feel very much welcomed. It is a restaurant to feel at home.
Mario’s Pizzeria Ristorante – RochdaleFriendly staff and prompt service Lovely food and decent portions - everyone said how nice their dish was, and we will definitely visit again
The Rising Moon – HydeLovely food and good service here
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreSo lovely to be able to walk to an eating / drinking space with warm welcome comfy seating and lively ambience Food was just right snd very wide impressive wine selection We should frequent and support our local restaurants whenever we can or we lose them
Fat Loaf – SaleWe have only moved to Sale three years ago and we have tried many restaurants and pub restaurants some good some nit so good. We’ve had our eye on the Fat Loaf for a year or so ago but never got round to booking until this week. This by far the best meal we have had within Sale and the surrounding area. The atmosphere was very convivial, the service very friendly, and we were very pleased with the French onion soup followed by fillet steak. I had a Hele’s German beer which was light and refreshing, and followed up with a Chardonnay. The price for the quality was not surprising and reflected a meal of such good quality. We will definitely be frequenting her in future,
Fat Loaf – SaleBooked in for a a birthday meal and the whole experience was awful! Food was complete naff, it looked nothing like the photos promoting the place on Instagram. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive for one of them to be missing. After being there for 75 minutes the second drink arrived! Definitely will not be in a hurry to return. Bring back El Capo!
Boogalu – Northern QuarterFood was awful. Don’t feel like any of the ingredients were fresh, felt store bought. Half the menu was out of stock. Overpriced even with 50% Whilst cocktails were ok, but also felt that cheap alcohol was used. Highly recommend Wolf at the Door instead, that’s were we went afterwards to have amazing tacos and delicious cocktails. Not coming back here. Thank you.
Boogalu – Northern QuarterMy understanding is that this new opening is run by people already operating restaurants, if so then it doesn't show 10 minute wait for menu, 10 minute wait to take order, as ordering advised 2 of the 7 main items were not available, 5 minute wait for drink, 20 minute wait for food, food delivered cold If you only have 5 main items and a few nibbles how does it take 20 minutes to serve tacos and nachos How is it possible to serve tacos and nachos cold In fairness the staff did offer to prepare another meal but I couldn't take up the offer due to catching a train. I was not charged for my drink
Boogalu – Northern QuarterGreat food, great service. Really good mid week/ happy hour
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreBeen here a few times now the food has always been lovely and the staff very welcoming and polite .The pub has always been clean no sticky tables really nice place
The Rising Moon – HydeI took my daughter and granddaughter here as I have been before and thoroughly enjoyed it so wanted them to have the same experience. Whilst I appreciate mothers day could be particularly busy. I found the service quite slow. Don't get me wrong the staff were lovely and polite when they did deal with us but not sure it requires two member of staff to be cleaning the same table or checking their phones when customers can clearly see this and are waiting to be served. My daughter did find a hair in one of her starters which was rather off putting. However she did report this and this particular dish was removed from the bill. The rest of the food was lovely and on the whole not too bad an experience
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichGreat service, strong cocktails, amazing burrito. And sombreros to wear. What's not to love.
La Sentidos Loca – WiganEasy to book online. Restaurant nicely decorated with quiet music playing. Been there 4 times now and the food and service has always been excellent. Good value for money. Will be returning.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreYou know you’re in for a treat when you enter the restaurant and see the amazing decor and know it will only get better when you take your place on a comfy seat at your table. First impressions are very important and the waiting staff at l’aquila do not disappoint, instantly getting to work to make sure your experience is a good one. And what an experience it is, from the barman presenting the wine bottle like we are royalty to the perfect presentation of the food! We shared a half and half garlic bread and the special prawn starter which were both immaculately presented and mouth-wateringly good. The ingredients were obviously fresh and if high quality as the taste exploded in your mouth. For mains we both chose a pasta dish and again both were such a delight! I took a gamble in trying the steak pasta as I’m not a huge steak fan but the strips of stake in my pasta were so tender flavourful I would recommend it to everyone! My husband went for a salmon and baby prawn pasta, which I took a little bite of, and what a ride of flavours! Each item in the dish had its own unique taste rather than blending into one which can happen with seafood dishes. Fresh and beautiful. Although we were certainly full by now it was so good that we couldn’t pass the opportunity to try the desserts, after a short break to settle the mains. Again, immaculate presentation of a rich but not sickly sticky toffee pudding and a beautiful, light crème brûlée. We ended the night with a special cocktail each, both with such unique flavours but gorgeous none the less. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend l’aquila. I will certainly be going back!
