I’ve been here quite a few times to eat and meet with friends. As always the food is great and wholesome. Portions are large and filling. Great selection of teas as well plus beers if that takes your fancy. A relaxing place to eat and drink. It knocks spots off other places in Didsbury. It can get busy so it’s better to reserve a table especially at lunch time.

A wonderful evening celebrating my son’s 13th birthday. The staff are so friendly, the service is phenomenal! They even helped with the cake and a birthday song. Thank you for making it so special for him.

As usual perfect food great staff never fail to deliver good service best place around never go anywhere else.

We booked a table for 2 hoping for a lovely mid-week meal. To say the waiting staff were dis-interested is an understatement. They showed a complete lack of customer service. We were robotically shown to our table, which we then asked to be moved away from a big party, we were offered drinks by a member of staff who never made eye contact once. The pizza was average - the sauce tasted like unseasoned passata , piled high with unseasoned vegetables. To be honest, you can accept below par food around Uppermill if the service and atmosphere is good, but this experience was cold in both temperature and welcome. We're not expecting the red carpet but a warm welcome and a smile go a long way.

Lovely food and friendly, welcoming staff. We've been here many times and always enjoy it. Dogs are made welcome and there's even a special menu for them. The pub is lovely with a great atmosphere too.
