Wansbeck The – MorpethFantastic food and service which is very reasonable in price. Sunday lunch is delicious and will definitely be going back.
Bistro 62 – MorpethVery nice restaurant, food was delicious, staff were helpful, courteous, and fun. this place will not let you down.
Amaretto’s – MorpethWhilst holidaying in Northumberland we ate at Zecca. Food really tasty - Starters: Salt & Pepper Squid, Fishcakes and Garlic Bread (delicious with the addition of salt and pepper and a drizzle of olive oil to make it), Mains Rump steak, Sirloin, Rabbit with Black Pudding and Chicken in Mushroom Cream sauce which were all delicious. Will definitely pay a visit when we are next in the area.

Sourgrapes – MorpethA very convivial place place to spend the evening best suited to the over 40's. Good food as well as a good variety of wines beers and spirits.
Sourgrapes – MorpethThis was my first visit to Richard Sim's new venture in Amble and i was in for a treat, a dark wet wednesday nite and Zecca was busy and the atmosphere was buzzing. The first thing that struck me was the fantastic interior that would not be out of place in Jesmond or town. Salted sqiud had a nice kick and my king prawn and crab taglletlle was gorgeous, my partner is still raving about his Ingram lamb chops. It was a little further that we'd normally travel, but we'll definitely be back.
Zecca – MorpethWe ate here end of April. My husband and myself, son, daughter and their respective partners. I have got to be honest we chose the banquets as there was so many choices, we could not concentrate on the menu. We were not disappointed. It was great, as was the service. All I can say is give it a try. Me and my husband are going ourselves tomorrow (on our own this time, we want a seat overlooking the river, lovely !)
Went there to celebrate Mam's birthday at the beginning of March - the staff were great, had a meal in the restaurant on Sunday lunch and we were all disappointed with the actual meal and it was pricey - great starters and deserts, poor main, unfortunately, but the atmosphere made up for it!
Anglers Arms – MorpethA recent visit to this true Inn was a pleasure. The room was most comfortable and the meals excellent. A convivial atmosphere in the bar and talking with some of the friendly locals only added to what was a most memorable weekend. Some very interesting Contemporary Pottery by Kashan Ceramics on display and for sale. I fully recommend it to anyone.
Dyke Neuk – MorpethI've been to Verdi's a few times now. Although its very small, the food is beautiful and the waiters are really friendly. They also do their food to take away which is great. Would definitely recommend
Verdi Restaurant – MorpethEverything perfect definitely going back!
Dyke Neuk – MorpethTerrible quality of food, the lamb was tough and the chicken dish was OK apart from the lack of chicken. Will not return
Bengal Cottage The – MorpethIf there are four in your company, why not share a cheesie pizza bread and a plate of potato skins between you. For the main course I heartily recommend the Penne Al Forno - yummy!
Gianni’s – Morpethabsolutely awful, service was terrible and our dessert looked like it was tipped out of a mould. Waiter spilled our wine and coffee was only luke warm. asked to see the restaurant manager but he/she never appeared. A pity, this was fantastic once upon a time!
Cook and Barker Inn – MorpethA gorgeous location for fantastic food!! Well worth the drive!!
