Cosy place serving very good food, service is the fastest I've had. Will go many times, staff kept very busy, so they may seem a little curt.

This is the best roast dinner I have ever tasted, even better than my mum's. And the price was outstanding. Highly recommended for families.

After our first visit with the whole family, we can thoroughly recommend Damon's. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff are friendly and efficient. It is nice that the restaurant is totally smoke free. One word of caution, if you don't like being surrounded by children, book a table towards the later part of the evening. Some parents ignore the posted signs, and do not adequately supervise their youngsters.

AFTER VISITING THIS RESTAURANT COUNTLESS TIMES I CAN HONESTLY SAY I HAVE NEVER TASTED BETTER FOOD OUTSIDE OF GREECE. THE STAFF ARE ATTENTIVE WITHOUT BEING OVER-POWERING, THE ATMOSPHERE IS LOVELY & OF COURSE THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC. THIS RESTAURANT COMES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I was told about this place by a friend and didn't expect too much as I usually go into town, but was more than surprised and delighted to find it was all she talked about and more. It's a bit smaller than I'm used to but that makes it feel really cosy and the people who go there seem friendlier than in town. It seems like an older crowd (I went on a Friday night) but this is probably what makes it a bit classier. Highly recommended

This classy little joint - the best thing is that there's no pretentiousness in here, which can't be said of certain other local bars, which seem to be full of arrogant orange 'wannabes'! The staff are professional without going overboard with the sirs and madams you get in some places. which just sounds forced. Service is fast and efficient (it's all we ask for innnit) and the food comes out quite nicely presented & tastes great. I've recommended to a few mates and they've always come back with positive comments. Try it out yourself I'd say. The only negative point is that it gats jam packed at the weekends, but then, isn? that a sign of a popular place!!

A wonderful combination of classy, relaxed, friendly and exclusive. The food is imaginative and there's a good range of wines available. I'd definitely recommend this as the place to be seen!

Good quality Chinese without entering into the realms of high class. Good service, tasty food, typically Chinese environment. Good choice for an inexpensive Chinese.
