Made a last minute table booking and a few of us came for breakfast. The booking process was really easy and the staff were lovely on arrival and during our stay. Breakfast was delicious, as were the hot drinks. Room was a little cold until it filled up with people, that's my only gripe. Just make sure to bring a warm layer in colder weather. We would definitely return.

Friendly staff and lovely food

Lovely little atmospheric cafe/restaurant hidden away in Nantwich. Easy on line booking system. We had a delicious christmas quiche, highly reccomend it. This was my second visit but I will be making it a regular even if its only for a coffee and one of the delicious cakes on offer. Thank you for great service too.

Love the relaxed atmosphere for this delightful little cafe. Great menu, especially the French Onion soup it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend visiting, it does get busy so best to book in advance.

I didn't purchase food this time but previously it's been amazing!! A coffee meet up with a great atmosphere. It's my birthday on 30th November so I'll pop in again and enjoy you're lovely cakes!

This is a real gem and has amazing food quality - we have made this our regular stop off and look forward to trying out the breakfast menu as well. There was a delay for the food but I’m happy to wait for quality

First time visiting. I had booked and the table had a reservation sign on it but it was dirty from previous customers and still not cleaned/wiped when the waitress sat us down. Service was very slow and I then had to chase the staff to order a drink and for the menus. Food was ok but I ordered a sandwich on sourdough not toasted but it arrived toasted. The waitress said they’d remake it but we had waited so long and my friend had her meal so we’d then be eating at different time - so I just took it. No token discount offered for the wrong order. Cute little place but we were disappointed with the overall experience.

I have been here a few times for lunch which is always delicious. Last week my friend and I had the afternoon cheese which was lovely. For me it had a bit too much cured meat, but it’s not something I eat often. I would have preferred maybe a savoury pastry/quiche, but it was very nice. The cake added just enough sweetness and the sparkling wine was lovely. The staff are always friendly and efficient.

We visit frequently. Best to book as it is very popular. Great staff. Lovely food. Dog friendly. Marvellous atmosphere.

Excellent service and food. I had the french onion soup which was delicious and my dad had croque monsieur which he said was very good and a large portion. Everything was fairly priced, staff were very friendly and attentive. It was busy when we visited but not too noisy and the tables are large and not too close together. Lovely atmosphere.

Not as good as usual tbh. Half the piece of bread not toasted, no butter and a very small portion of avocado. Not up to usual standards which is disappointing.
