5 stars all round! The service was perfect, the food was beautiful even adapting the menu for a vegan in our party. Lots of veggie and vegan choices too. Reasonably priced. Great size portions. Tasty food. Lovely atmosphere. Clean. Perfect room temperature. Smiley staff. Beautiful renovation of the building. Fantastic.... Thank you so much The Royal Oak. We will be back and I suggest if you're reading this review, don't hesitate, get it booked!

The Royal Oak – NantwichWe went here for the first time and was very impressed. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and found it very comfortable. It was not expensive very value for money and will definitely be going again.
The Royal Oak – NantwichArrived with my family for Sunday dinner. They were very busy but unfortunately this was reflected in the service. Had to ask for cutlery as table wasn't set for arrival, after asking 3 times for a drink ended up going to the bar for it, 1 set of veg for 4 adults and 1 child... had to ask for the rest. I could go on! Kayley was lovely and Rob, the manager has since spoken to us. We will try there again but probably not on a busy Sunday afternoon! Food was good but didn't hang around for dessert so couldn't comment on that.

The Royal Oak – NantwichWe went here for my wife's birthday. This is our second visit and we were really impressed. The pub is lovely inisde, warm and welcoming. The food and service are both really good. I think the prices are very reasonable considering the current climate. We will definitley return, highly recommended !

The Royal Oak – NantwichHad lunch here on Monday with 2 friends. Staff polite and friendly and the interior is lovely. Food was good. However, I ordered the beef sandwich on granary bread and it was served on basic whole meal bread. Very disappointing

Easy to book online; attentive service throughout; good menu and great value; spotlessly clean; venue beautifully renovated and the outdoor log fire was a real treat. We had pizzas - stone baked in their pizza oven. We’ll definitely return. We went early in the evening so atmosphere wasn’t quite in full flow, but to be expected at that time of day and didn’t detract from the experience.

The Royal Oak – NantwichFirst visit and were really impressed. The interior and exterior look, detail and decor was excellent and very fitting for the Cheshire Countryside. Lovely oak beams, separate bar area and restaurant area. Very clean,.smelt nice. The staff were all really helpful, friendly and nothing was too much. The service was speedy and food was delicious and a good price! Tasty meal, great size portion and the staff checked throughout that we were happy with everything. Will definitely be returning!
The Royal Oak – NantwichWe booked in for a Sunday Lunch on 25/09/22. The venue has been tastefully restored and extended. The meal was served very promptly by courteous members of staff. We both ordered roast beef. The selection of vegetables served was very good, together with excellent Yorkshire Puddings. I'm afraid the centre piece of the meal i.e. roast beef (sirloin I think) did let the meal down as is was cut extremely thinly and lacked flavour. We will be going back to The Royal Oak, but not for Sunday Lunch
