Me Love Sushi – North LondonI love the food & their cocktails if I feel like treating myself! I recommend the chicken udon soup, chicken gyoza and their Manhattan cocktail makes me feel very Carrie Bradshaw!!
Me Love Sushi – North LondonI'm trying to lose weight for a summer wedding so when me and a friend want to eat our we chose sushi as it's healthy. We also shared one of their salads with the seafood in it & it was really good will go back there even once the diet is finished!
Me Love Sushi – North LondonA good Friday night celebration venue because they also have a cocktail bar, a really great way to celebrate the weekend and eat some great food too, the dumplings are fab!
Me Love Sushi – North LondonMy kids love going here mainly because they get to eat with their fingers! To start with they didn't want to try the sushi wrapped with seaweed but after a couple of visits my eldest did and now all 3 of them eat the seaweed rolls, they love sharing the dumplings and skewers too & it keeps them quiet while they're eating too!
Me Love Sushi – North LondonBeing a veggie I can go here with my meat eating friends and we can all find something which we love, I love any kind of fish, so I've always eaten Sushi, the large rolls with the rice round the outside are good filled with spicy tuna and they do nice dumplings too.
Me Love Sushi – North LondonI started with calamari chunks which were cooked really well, then moved on to a rice bowl with prawn and crab, which had a really nice garlic sauce. The food had loads of flavor and everything was freshly cooked.
Me Love Sushi – North LondonPrepare to be transported to another world. Inside this palace of curiosities between Crouch End and Finsbury Park, with its rich fabrics, beaten metalwork, glowing candles and enchanting alcoves is a food-lover's heaven. Moroccan-inspired but with elements of Asian, European and even Australasian cuisine, the menu is as eclectic as the decor. We ate sardine salad with couscous - the fish moist with a perfectly crispy exterior, the couscous tender and spicy - then Thai green chicken curry, once again the ideal heat, texture and taste. My companion's sirloin steak had a garnish of ginger which had her squeaking with pleasure. Owner Aziz Begdouri devised both the exotic interior (including a surreal bed with furniture stuck to the ceiling) and the funky fusion menu, having been a chef in both his native Morocco and in London. Triangle won Archant's Best Moroccan restaurant in London award in 2006 and best themed restaurant in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Combined with the chilled music, the gracious and happy service, the small but idyllic garden, the low-level den where you sit cross-legged on cushions, the inventive wine list (try the Moroccan sauvignon blanc - it's knockout) and the plethora of intricate, lovingly worked details everywhere you look, this is a stunning triumph of a restaurant.
The Triangle – North LondonThe Hill remains a great pub with great food - if anything it is even better. They've got rid of some of the fancy bits and the tapas and added some British classics. The week deal [a main and glass of wine for £10] means we go after work quite a lot. Main thing I love is the great wine list. Not over priced [compared to some of the bars in the area] and you can enjoy it on one of the comfy chairs. Atmosphere is always warm and friendly but not so busy you can't have a good chat.
The Hill – North LondonThe restaurant is close to the tube so is easy to find and is fairly priced for London. The food is excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly, I spent a month in Japan and the sushi here is very good for a restaurant outside of Japan. The large seaweed rolls filled with salmon are one of my favourites and very filling. If you like other noodle bars you won't be disappointed by there hot food either and you get to choose the type of noodles you want, which isn't always the case in other restaurants. I love the duck noodles. I've recommended the restaurant to friends and work colleagues and everyone who has been has loved it too.
Me Love Sushi – North LondonThe sushi at Me Love Sushi is very good, there is a wide variety of types and fillings to choose from, all reasonably priced. You can also choose filling rice and noodle bowls and they also give you the choice of thick or thin noodles. I would recommend the beef noodles and for people feeling hungry the mixed tempura is excellent.
Me Love Sushi – North LondonGreat food. I love the hot noodle bowls. Good value for money.
Me Love Sushi – North LondonI can never decide what to eat when I go to restaurants, so Sushi is perfect for me. Me Love Sushi was a fun experience. I went with friends and we ordered a whole variety of rolls and nigiri as well as some things I hadn't tried (something which looked like an ice cream cone made out of sushi and stuffed with rice and crab was amazing!). We also had some hot dishes: chicken yakitori skewers, and salmon teriyaki and the flamed salmon and tuna. I would recommend them all. The bar upstairs is way cool, and was a really nice place to let our food settle. We ordered sake (of course) to complete the experience. Overall this is a fun place to go, with loads of choice. Will definitely go again.
Me Love Sushi – North Londoni love the food there its delicious and the waiters are very kind and friendly i will always recommend this restaurant.
Curry Manjill Restaurant – North LondonFabulous atmosphere and service with friendly staff. Fantastic cuisine, different by far to other Asian restaurants, a well balanced depth in flavour, not over empowering in spices or chilies, very palatable. distinct texture in the food, Not drenched in oil. Can't explain more, you must try it to believe it.
Atithi – North LondonDivine menu in delightful surroundings. Very friendly and courteous staff - highly recommended.
Ravels Bistro – North Londonthis restaurant was amazing. had such a cosy atmosphere with an authentic feel and served delicious quality food at a reasonable price (the complementary nachos were very cute and yummy!). the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. i will definitely be coming back here again!
Exquisite – North LondonAfter waiting one and a half hours we left as we had still not received ANY food. On top of that, the restaurant made us pay for all the wine even though it had not been drunk. Do not go...
