Wonderful meal with attentive staff in relaxed surroundings.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonLast Sunday I took the family for Sunday Lunch. Such a lovely dinning room. Excellent service, friendly and efficient. Food very good. Prices reasonable in line with far inferior offerings in Northamptonshire. Would recommend.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonStayed here twice each year in May for nearby super car fest. My husband found the place and it was a gem of a find. Lovely service and people, all so welcoming and friendly. Rooms perfect, modern, comfortable beds etc. Quiet to say its also a pub and restaurant. But not too large, ideal. What set it apart also was the amazing food! I love nice places for food, and this is so good yet so reasonably priced too. We have stayed as a couple and another time with our 9 year old. We all loved the place and will go back next year. Such a great price for hotel & breakfast too. Which was lovely, cooked to order. Definitely recommend

The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonHad a delicious meal with friends. I was particularly impressed with the vegetables which were served in an unusual manner. Complements to the chef! The desserts were also delicious and unusual.

The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonExcellent food, beautifully presented, friendly staff, a great night out.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWe had a lovely lunch here. The lunch menu was very reasonable and varied. We all had the Caesar salad. The chicken was extremely tender and plentiful. Service friendly and excellent.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonSpent one night here as part of our wedding anniversary. The room we had was very acceptable with a large double bed. We did find the taps a bit strange but maybe that is because we are more used to "traditional "taps! Similar problem with the shower. Our meal was very pleasant but definitely NOT up tp 2 Rosette (AA) standard. Although the website stated the a la carte menu shown was only "representative' what was offered was quite different if you wanted something other than steak/burgers/fish and chips. The goats cheese soufflé was good as was the pork loin but very disappointed that the only fish dish was battered c oc and chips. The service was speedy and the servers very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked
