Always get a very good meal here and yesterday was no exception. The smoked salmon starter was superb. Huge and tasty roast beef with so many vegetables. Hardly had room for dessert. Service was excellent - so friendly and efficient. Lovely staff.

Lovely pub, amazing food and even better staff . We had a lovely Xmas day , food was amazing, the staff are always polite and friendly. We stayed the night in the executive apartment, lovely and clean , cannot recommend enough, keep up the good work

A party of seven, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our go to restaurant in Northampton and will definitely return based on our last visit.

My wife, our son and daughter and their partners enjoyed a lovely overnight stay at the hotel and a wonderful pre-Xmas meal. We were visiting for my father’s 80th birthday but decided to take the opportunity to enjoy an evening out the night before the birthday celebrations. A great decision, the food was lovely and the service was superb. Thanks to all at the Hopping Hare. Merry Xmas.

Went for an afternoon Tea with a dear friend as a Christmas treat and we were both very impressed with the food, cake and coffees (neither of us Tea drinkers) The serving staff were very friendly and efficient - would highly recommend.

Celebrated our diamond wedding there made very welcome, food good , service good , would certainly recommend a visit. We will make a return visit.

Pre Christmas meal with family 7 of us. Atmosphere was good , all very clean, food was excellent, Maddie our waitress was an entertainment in itself I can see her at the appollo in London. Thank you

You cannot fault the Hopping Hare. The food and service is always of an exceptional standard. The menu is varied and well priced.

Eaten here several times and it never disappoints. The food is amazing and really well presented. The menu is innovative and interesting. I had a goats cheese starter followed by sea bream and both were really good. Just about managed to fit in a lemon tart which was also delicious. We’ll be back soon

The service was great and the food was fabulous. Only suggestions for improvement would be to have more 'sauce' with the pork loin and the beef brisket. Also, the flavour of the curly kale was a bit overpowering. Maybe try a bed of brocoli instead, or leeks? Oh, and the pear dessert we thought would be a warm pear. Still a delicious meal though, and really couldn't fault the service. Fab place.

Not our first visit, won’t be our last. The food is fabulous; excellent locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection with stunning presentation. Service team are friendly and efficient, cannot fault it.

Incredible food with a warm relaxing atmosphere it was busy but the staff were friendly and on the ball. The restaurant was filled with a couple of large parties however we didn't wait at all for service. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and all the flavours cooked and presented perfectly.

We had our company Christmas lunch on Friday. I would like to say that the food was amazing. This is a great place to go to have your Christmas lunch.
