Our Sunday evening meal was delightful. Our party of four chose the turkey roast dinner, the roast beef dinner and the trout, all were very well presented and very tasty. The portion were a good size so much so most of us declined a dessert. The staff were friendly and attentive, the dining room was very pleasant. A throughly enjoyable evening. Having dined there before this will always be my choice of venue when visiting Northampton.

Excellent service , however was slightly disappointed with the food as the cod was gritty however the sticky toffee pudding was lovely! Could have some low music & dimmer lighting for extra ambience.

I have not had one bad or disappointing dining experience at this beautiful Gastro Pub. The food is divine, whether you’re eating from their weekly evening Menu or Sunday Roast Menu. The staff are alway attentive, and the atmosphere so welcoming, cosy and relaxing. Would highly recommend!

This was our second visit to the Hopping Hare for their excellent taster menu. Each course on both trips has been a joy, beautifully presented and amazing tastes. Really good value for money with attentive and friendly service. We will definitely be returning.

My first visit on Sunday with a friend for 'Sunday Lunch', I will certainly be going back, delicious beef roast, served hot and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and friendly.

We went on 4th Oct, 6 of us, to celebrate my birthday. The waitress realised it was one of our birthdays, and asked which one. The service was great, and when my plate of sorbet came for dessert it was decorated with ' happy birthday ' and balloons! A lovely touch, thank you.

We shared Sunday lunch with friends yesterday and we were all super impressed with the standard of the food we were served. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was served in a timely manner and the red wine was a perfect temperature, we even indulged in a dessert………
