Party of 14 for my wife’s birthday celebration. The staff were fantastic and so was the food. We are lucky to have this place as our local and every time we visit the standards are the same! Never a bad meal.

Excellent meal - exquisite food from starter to dessert and enjoyed every mouthful. The wine was fantastic and the service suitably attentive. The meal was quite expensive but worth every penny given the quality.

Excellent Sunday lunch and great service.

Had lunch on Saturday . I had the cod Loin and my husband had the fish and chips and it was lovely as always No complaints just compliments Staff attentive! Husband had a lovely pint with lunch also

Our "go to" restaurant, we are always assured of having first class food in very comfortable surroundings, with excellent service.

Lunch for 3 on Thursday, 22 August 2024 Excellent meal, beautifully cooked and presented and served by a friendly and efficient waitress who checked, from time to time, if everything was alright. Very affordable and I look forward to returning. I would not hesitate in taking guests to The Hopping Hare and would be very comfortable in recommending it to anyone.

We stayed overnight at the hotel and decided before we arrived to eat in the restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The chicken was the tastiest I've had in a long time. It was succulent and tender and plentiful. My husband had the same and was also delighted by the quality. I had the lemon tart desert. Again it was beautifully presented and very tasty. The waitresses were excellent, attentive, efficient and friendly. The bill including 2 large glasses of wine and a Glenmorangie whisky came to £78 which we considered to be good value in a beautiful restaurant. I would highly recommend this as an eating place.

8 ladies came for lunch yesterday. The service and the food were superb. We had a wonderful time - lots of laughter and fun. Thank you so much for providing a relaxing environment for our ladies who lunch group. We will return. A number of the ladies had not been before and they were very impressed. I have been for Sunday lunch many times and once had a memorable Valentine's Day afternoon Tea

We love coming to the Hopping Hare for Sunday Lunch. It is the best in Northampton and the desserts are amazing! The menu changes regularly, so it’s exciting to see what’s on the menu on each visit. The staff are also lovely and always make the effort to talk to our young children. Service is second to none. The only negative is that we love to sit in the restaurant area as it’s more relaxed, but often end up sitting in the bar. Though this is probably because we often book last minute.

All our meal were beautifully presented and they tased as good as they looked . We are looking forward o our next visit

Very impressed with the restaurant .. Staff very polite and welcoming. The choice on the menu was extensive and the meal was amazing. 5 star couldn’t fault the evening. Highly recommend and can’t wait to see you all again.

Had a lovely night, amazing food and everyone working there were great. On a bad note speakers not working so no music in the background which made it very quiet, Highly recommend.

Food was great and lovely atmosphere, will definitely book again
