The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. Lovely atmosphere. We will absolutely be back!
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonBooked this with my partner. I must say - the meal i had was one of the best meals i have ever had (venison). Every mouthful was savoured. I didnt have a starter as Sticky Toffee pudding was on the desert menu, and i cannot say no to that, also perfect and plenty of it!! Great service also - highly recommend. Prices are good for the quality of food.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonOnly my second visit, and just as good as the first. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and timely service. I had the roast cod and was slightly disappointed by the chewiness of the gnocchi, but the delicious creme brulee with rhubarb more than made up for it.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonLovely venue and Great food .Never disappoints. However a particular younger member of staff really needs to brush up on customer service. Not very friendly, and abrupt
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonI would like to say a big Thank You to everyone at the Hopping Hare on behalf of all my family, We had my uncles wake on Friday and the Buffet was amazing and we was made to feel comfortable by all the staff. Thank you so much x
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWe have eaten with you quite a few times and have been delighted but last night we were disappointed. We both had the Venison and it was very chewy, both the medallions and the pie. There was also no contrasting flavours. To our taste and expectations, it wasn't good.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonFood and service absolutely amazing will definitely be going back there recommend to all

The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonLovely atmosphere. Have always found the food and service to be of the highest standard.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonSuperb food and friendly service.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonUnfortunately we didn’t have the usual good experience here. The main course took over an hour after starters to arrive, no one informed us or apologised for the delay. The main meal was over cooked, the fish and chips were dry and crispy. We did not complain, but decided against a tip. When we paid, the lady behind the bar who took our payment muttered loudly and grumpily ‘no tip then, thanks’ which is very very inappropriate. We left not wanting to return, sadly as previously we have had good experiences here.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonWe arrived for New Year’s Eve dinner. We were greeted quickly on arrival. The venue was quite busy as expected. We were seated at a table by the door however asked to be moved into the main restaurant which was promptly dealt with. We had to ask for a drinks menu and they took a while to turn up and by then the starters arrived. The food quality and presentation was excellent. Would definitely go back. Nice experience.
The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonThe food and service was excellent as usual. I had the pork loin and my husband had the blade of beef both were delicious and so were the desserts.
