We went to your restaurant for my mother in laws birthday /Easter celebration. She in her own words said it was the best meal she has ever had. Now that is a good recommendation

Another enjoyable roast dinner, always a great selection of vegetables a beautifully cooked roast beaf and lovely Yorkshire pudding. The staff are also exceptionally attentive. Thank you will definitely be in again soon.

Fantastic food, drinks and service.

I booked a table for 6 and we were shown immediately to our table and a member of staff gave us menus and waited whilst we decided on drinks. Our drinks were served within a few minutes and the waitress returned to take our order. We did not order starters, but our main course arrived after a reasonable wait. Everyone loved their meal. We ordered desserts and one of our party said his carrot cake was the best he had tasted. We all enjoyed the bottle of Rioja . It was a very pleasant experience all round.

Wonderful visit on 26th March. The food was terrific. The risotto and goat cheese panna cotta were exceptional. We were late for unavoidable reasons and my mother struggles with her health and needed support getting to our table but the staff could not have been more helpful. Thank you for your kindness-it was very much appreciated.

As a group of five with a vegetarian amongst us, we booked for Sunday lunch at 12.30pm. We were delighted with the high quality and the choice of the meals. The staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. Would highly recommend and could not fault.

Very enjoyable lunch on my birthday 25th March. The Guinea Fowl was tender and succulent and the caramelised lemon tart delicious. It was a nice touch having Happy Birthday piped in chocolate on my desert plate with a candle!

We had booked for Sunday at 5:00 pm thinking it would be quiet as it was on a previous occassion. Sadly yjat was not the case as there was a full restaurant with some very loud voices. We asked the staff if there was a quieter table and were ushered round to the bar area which was much quieter and where we enjoyed some great food, My roast beef cut like butter and tastied lovely. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, so much so that we were keen to make another booking, Our waitress said she would make sure to be on duty on our next visit. It may not be true but ir was nice to hear. Negative thoughts, £10 for an average starter. I know prices have gone up but still, our solution ? no starter

The menu is fantastic. Very good choice. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, starters were amazing, my wife had the mackerel and said it was the best starter she’d ever had. The duo of venison was simply amazing. I’ll be back very soon. Thank you.

Superb relaxing atmosphere with a lovely warm welcome. The food ain't half bad either. You just know it is all locally sourced and it is so well presented. Luxury eating at an affordable price. If you haven' t all ready done so, then you'v got to give it a try. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous food, service and staff. Last minute Sunday lunch booking with my Mum and this has become our new favourite place for Sunday lunch!

I stay here frequently due to location to work, the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped, the restaurant is outstanding and the food absolutely stunning. The bar staff are so friendly and accommodating and the tables set out in a way that you don't even notice other guests.
