Superb food and service

We came here for a celebratory lunch, and what a brilliant choice of venue. The food was outstanding and the staff are lovely. I could not have asked for or experienced anything better. We will be back

Visited The Hopping Hare for a roast on Sunday and it was delicious. The food was cooked to perfection. Great service as well. Very happy.

Always great food and great service too. It has a lovely atmosphere and I think its one of the nicest restaurants in Northampton. Went for Sunday lunch, first time in a few months, was perfect. Just enough.

Overall everything was brillant, the staff was lovely and very helpful because one member of the family are in wheelchair and needs alot of help. We visit regular because mum feels at ease and enjoys a lunch out and leaving the care home for a few hours the atmosphere is just what mums needs a calming and pleasant place.

Excellent service, especially from a very young waiter. The menu had a number of interesting dishes, and our choices were very tasty and good looking. My wife's chocolate fondant was perfect. We will be back.

Excellent - friendly staff - great starters the goats cheese soufflé was lovely. The Sunday Roast was the best I have had in Northampton - succulent sirloin beef done perfectly, great potatoes and perfectly done Yorkshire (so many get it wrong). Only issue was the kale - I hate it - but otherwise a really well done roast meal and lots of it. I will definitely be going again to try some other dishes. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit, and I must say, the staff made me very welcome and were polite and friendly. I shared my table with my Nephew and we both thoroughly enjoyed our starters and main course. The menu was excellent with plenty of choice but not too much choice, and everything was cooked beautifully. I will not hesitate to recommend this restaurant and I will definitely go again.

Great place

I've stayed here now a few times, normally associated with family occasions. The restaurant is well appointed with a nice ambience, the staff attentive, the menu options excellent, and the food extremely well cooked and delicious, and presented to a high standard. Most certainly value for money. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Food fantastic as ever, best roast potatoes anywhere, fantastic beef too. Very good service, very attentive. I think it's the best pub food anywhere in Northampton

Came with my family for Sunday dinner (11 of us) and everyone enjoyed their meal. Food was great and service was amazing! Would defo recommend For the money it was def worth it
