Fabulous Sunday lunch at The Hopping Hare, one of the best if not the best food in Northampton. Friendly staff working in a very busy restaurant and still smiling through. A must try.

All I can say is that staff was absolutely amazing and the service was outstanding, the shift manager was amazing too and I have to compliment on the chef and his staff because the food was out of this world, so I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely amazing… The food was presented beautifully and tasted amazing and the Vegan option was amazing. Attention to detail from the kitchen to the table was second to none. The welcome by the front of house and table service made the visit very pleasurable. We all had a fantastic evening and look forward to visiting again. Well done all at The Hopping Hare.

Fabulous food and service the only thing that was a mistake, I asked for a bottle of tap water but they served me spring water and I opened it costing £4.80

We went at the end of November when the menu had been amended for Christmas. Had the Veal which was amazing and my partner at the Christmas dinner which she really enjoyed. Chocolate dessert was very nice and the kitchen did ice cream only for my partner which was not on the menu, and this was very nice. Staff were amazing as always.

Really lovely Sunday roast - I had lamb dinner, my guests had chicken and beef. All very nice and only negative comment was the beef dinner only had one carrot and he didn’t like the sprouts so we swapped out veg. Maybe if veg was served separately for the table this wouldn’t have been an issue. Desserts absolutely divine. Suggest a trio of small desserts would be popular. Definitely visiting again. Servers were really lovely and friendly

Sunday roast was very tasty. Waiting staff were really friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

A fantastic meal beautifully made.

We had a wonderful meal at the hopping hare to celebrate a big birthday. The restaurant was busy on a midweek November night but the service was efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It was hard to choose from the menu as all the suggestions were attractive. I went for the local venison which I had not tried before and it was delicious and very tender. The staff were very attentive and it was a very enjoyable way to celebrate my birthday.

My friends and I had a catch up there. Food was well cooked, tasty and presented beautifully. They were very impressed. Very reasonably priced too. Attentive , professional staff. Thank you for a lovely few hours.
