Nine of us dined at The Hopping Hare and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. A great experience all round. What surprised me was how quiet the place was. Don't people know how good it is? The phrase 'use it or lose it' comes to mind. I will definitely be back.

This restaurant never fails us. Always a treat from when you first walk through the door. Friendly smiles and greetings from the staff. Prompt attention for a pre meal drink whilst you search the menu. And time and time again excellent food exceptionally well presented. Served with a smile from the great staff

The staff are lovely, make us very welcome. The food is exceptional - spoils us for going anywhere else. Bit expensive - but I guess you get what you pay for. Never any problem parking. Best to book a table (we always ask for the bar area, quieter) though if online booking is showing full, give them a ring, they will fit you in if they can.

A perfect lunch time meal. We were fifteen of us enjoying a superb set menu especially created for us. The presentation and quality of the food was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive and the table arrangement was just perfect. We’ll be back !

Absolutely perfect. It is so rare to have a completely flawless experience, but this was. The table location was amazing and they really accommodated our baby. Food was exceptional and the servers were lovely and attentive. Can’t wait to come back here ❤️

The overall experience was almost spoilt due to the excessive noise created by six customers on an adjacent table who had no consideration for other diners. Fortunately one of you waiting staff noticed our discomfort and that of other diners and offered to move us to a table away from the disturbance which we gratefully accepted. I would like to think that it was a policy of the Restaurant to discretely have a word with customers who act in this manner. Yours sincerely. Martin Goodman.

Restaurant is excellently presented and a lovely setting for a meal. All the dishes we had (duck, pigeon, guinea fowl and beef) were all beautifully cooked and extremely tasty. The cognac selection is also fantastic. Overall fantastic meal and really good value for money.
