The Hopping Hare is my favourite Restaurant in England, indeed the whole of the British Isles.

Brilliant meal as usual

Lovely food. Service was very good and prompt. Great atmosphere. You get what you pay for. The staff couldn't have been more helpful for the elderley lady who was staying the night. Thank you

A special family birthday dinner where adults and children all had superb food beautifully presented, served by cheerful, efficient and friendly staff. Everything perfect and despite a variety of different food requests nothing was too much trouble for the staff. A really lovely evening.

We dine here quite regularly, but only started to enjoy Sunday lunch recently, we came 3 weeks ago and back yesterday with friends. The best roast beef ever, leave your teeth at home, you won’t need them! A perfect meal and reasonably priced considering the quality

The Hopping Hare is one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to eat in. The food is varied, fresh, carefully prepared and presented, and invariably delicious. The service is a delight and the price more than reasonable. Highly recommended.

Absolutely lovely. Service and food was amazing. So nice and refreshing to go out and feel relaxed and not rushed. Flavour in our was outstanding. Very impressed and will be reccomending to all friends and family. Thank-you.

Excellent food it was lovely and hot and tasty, service was excellent and the member of staff who waiter on us was very helpful and very pleasant, she was lovely with mum because she got dementia and as job cutting food up, and drinking out of tall glasses at 92 she does very well and she loves to come for meal and gives her time with family and outing from the care home. We visit the Hopping Hare restaurant fairly regularly and find the standard of food and service to be consistently excellent. Consistency is not always the case elsewhere but, to date, we go to this restaurant confident that we will be well provided for by their brilliant staff and leave having had a happy and enjoyable experience.

Lovely Sunday lunch yesterday. Great service. Tasty roast beef and chicken dishes. Calming atmosphere. Will return soon .

Stopped en route from Alton Towers to Surrey. We had a table of 8 and the service was excellent throughout. Clean, modern, nice surroundings and more importantly the food was spot on. Best pub food I have had in a long while.

Staff were attentive and all the three courses ordered were fantastic. The presentation of all meals looked wonderful. Would definitely recommend a visit . Nice atmosphere in the restaurant too. Looking forward to another visit soon.
