It is clean good staff . There are things for the children to do .I hope to come back and see the staff again.

We have been before and found the service and food to be good. How disappointed we all were with the service and food. The food served to me was not what was ordered. The waitress said she would get it changed but as this would take sometime she would put the meal that was correct in the oven to keep warm. When the meals came, served by the man that took the order.The chips were as best overcooked and were chard black and very grease. The minted peas were cold and the fish was overcooked as well. We are not complainers but I felt on reflection because the meals were so bad and being waited on by the bar man that took the order the situation may have been orcastrated to create some sort of confrontation. We did not complain we ate and left. We will not eat there again.

Stayed at the plough a couple of times staff are very pleasant, accommodation is clean will stay again .

It was a great experience to call Rajput takeaway. The best takeaway food so far I have discovered it was Rajput for sure. If they provide me a discount, I will order takeaway every week. At least for once as it worth having some delicious spice.

The staff are always very helpfull and polite and are great with recommendations, great value for money, you dont go anywhere else!

I had a plantation platter - the sweetcorn cob was too watery and the jacket potato side was shriveled. my mums steak was cooked too rare and had blood in it - she asked for medium rare. The steak had a layer of fat and sinews. The peas where very hard. The rest of my plantation platter was very good and the sauces were good. The staff were very friendly and explained what you could have including unlimited salad.

We visited on Friday evening 28 July 2011 and I must congratulate Mario and his staff for the excellent food and service

Best pub in Northampton by a yard of ale, the UK friendliest Bar staff and Craig, great food, beers and great garden with the best live entertainment, no n**s in here!!

Dave is the well known landlord of this pub with his soon to be bride Jules, Dave loves darts and a pint of Fosters, its an intimate family orientated pub, it has not changed much in the last 40 years, so for beer and skittles, and Toshs Quiz night it is the place to be

This is it!!! I learned Chinese cuisine in the mid 60s at the Golden City where the Grosvenor Centre now stands. It was great to return to Northampton after 40 years to find this little gem which is under patronised in relation to the wonderful food on offer at very reasonable cost Not at all your standard sexed up Hong Kong takeaway to eat in. This is food to appreciate and savour. Innovative and creative all the dishes have a 21st Century twist but retain all the delights offered up by ad hoc combinations of the historic bases of ginger sesame soy garlic rice wine . Everything is subtle from the spare ribs and the belly pork to the duck and the tamarind. Felix is a master and a hearty host who treasures his customers as he cares for his wok!!! You will not be disappointed!!

i came across this takeaway by chance as far cotton tandoori is located directly next door. the staff behind the bar are really friendly and the food is superb. i recommend this takeaway if you like a decent Indian meal
