Stayed at The Apple Inn for one night whilst attending an event at Bamburgh Castle. The room was lovely and very comfortable and the food was delicious. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and very accomodating regarding our dog. If we visit the area again we would definitely choose to stay here. First class.

Absolutely gorgeous meal. Terrific service and a great atmosphere with happy and helpful staff. We love that the pub is dog friendly and our lab can snooze under the table while we indulge in the Apple Inn’s terrific hospitality. This is our fourth visit. We’ll be back again.

Good range of choice with immaculate service. Non availability of tables forced us to a 5.30 time when there were more staff than diners and therefore had a poor atmosphere.

What a pleasant change to have significant choice of gluten free food on the menu. As a coeliac it is usually a struggle to have a real choice on the menu, it's often "you can have this dish but will need to remove the elements containing gluten"! Lovely food. The staff were great and helpful, nice atmosphere, service good. Enjoyed it so much going again 2 days later.

Lovely meal for my husbands birthday and they put some banners up for us ,could not fault the food only downside was they had run out of fish pie which I was looking forward to 5stars will hi again if in the area

Fantastic meal at the Apple Inn. We were a party of 25, kids & adults. They have us a separate area of the pub which worked brilliantly. Food was excellent. Our waitress was fantastic, very efficient, attentive & friendly which is a challenge service a party of 25. We’ve dined here before & will most definitely dine here again. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding!

The staff were brilliant , (it’s clear like everywhere at the moment they were a little short staffed ) worked ever so hard , polite , friendly and upbeat . The breakfast was great , great coffee in a lovely setting , we will definitely return. Best to book at busy times.

Love this place both in location and food which again was excellent. All three courses for the four of us were consistently good and of sufficient portion size. Atmosphere nice and the service was pleasant. will visit again if in the area.
