Great meal with friends. Brilliant food and friendly staff.
The Apple Inn – BamburghI visited this area from Sussex for 4 nights this week and originally booked a meal at this pub only on the first night as it was local to where I was staying. The food was so good, the welcome so warm and the service so efficient and friendly , that I ended up eating at the Apple Inn on all 4 nights. When I return I will certainly eat only at this pub. It took me 3 nights to change from the steak and ale pie which is absolutely sensational!
The Apple Inn – BamburghI booked a table for Saturday for my friend and myself. Well actually for two friends but one broke her ankle the day before. Anyway the service was fabulous. The food was delicious. I am a a very strict regime at the moment and they even accommodated that. My friend had the halibut which looked amazing. The cheese board was a delight. Enough to take some home for later on! Thoroughly recommend. We will be back for sure
The Apple Inn – Bamburgh1st time here, had been recommended and it certainly did not disappoint. The food was fantastic, the service was great and the place was beautiful and also very clean. We will definitely be coming back! Ps try the sticky toffee pudding it’s lovely.
The Apple Inn – BamburghAbsolutely delicious meal, highly recommend the signature apple dessert
The Apple Inn – BamburghSix ladies had a spa day next door included in the package was evening meals at Apple Inn. The food and service was a great way to end our weekend thoroughly recommended.
The Apple Inn – BamburghSecond visit to the Apple Inn and just as good as I remembered. Great service in a relaxing atmosphere and the food is brilliant. Will definitely be back.
The Apple Inn – BamburghStaff, helpful and polite. However, no staff member wore a mask, to protect customers or themselves. We were seated next to an unopened windows and were surround by a large number of customers with dogs. A member of the kitchen staff came into the eating area to pet and give tit bits to dogs then when back to the kitchen. Health and Hygiene? Food quality did not come up to expectations and was expensive for a rural establishment. A disappointing evening. We are staying at the HPB Lucker Hall site.
The Apple Inn – BamburghFantastic service, staff that seem to go the extra mile, looked after our dogs as well as us ;-) Food great as usual, could do with a greater vegetarian selection but the food is wonderful. Always seems quite busy so really need to book to make sure you get a table, but it's worth it.
The Apple Inn – BamburghDelicious pizzas, chilled wine and friendly service; what more could we ask?
The School House – BamburghExcellent food and service and the sunday lunch was very good value. We felt that it was truly dog friendly not just playing at it like some pubs. Would definitely recommend and go back if we are in the area.
The Apple Inn – BamburghAbsolutely Brilliant Food and service was great Even a birthday candle for my husband
The Apple Inn – BamburghLovely pub with lovely food and service. Even let us stay overnight in our motorhome
The Apple Inn – BamburghWe had a really nice meal at The Apple Inn. The halibut was delicious as was the pork.. The staff were lovely and very attentive but not rushed. We will be back soon
The Apple Inn – BamburghAn excellent meal in pleasant surroundings served by most helpful staff. What’s more it was very good value. Will definitely return and recommend it to friends.
The Apple Inn – BamburghFound the Apple Inn by chance, what a hidden gem . Best meal of the week. Fantastic food & very welcoming staff .
The Apple Inn – BamburghSecond visit and another lovely Sunday lunch, good to be able to take the dog without any problems. Only small criticism is that the veggie option for Sunday lunch is a bit limited.
The Apple Inn – BamburghWhilst staying in north Northumbria for a week's holiday, we visited The Apple Inn for Sunday lunch. Having emailed beforehand to check if we could eat/be served outside and been told we could (without any fuss being made, unlike another venue which shall be nameless), we arrived to a really friendly welcome and were seated in a nice outside, but covered area. Dinner itself was good - we both had the beef burger with rather delicious chips cooked in duck fat and home-made coleslaw. A nice glass of Sauvignon completed the meal, after which we regrettably had no room to try the yummy-looking Sticky Toffee pudding. I would definitely return for more!! Highly recommended.
