Lovely food and very friendly staff.

We ate at the apple inn Thursday evening the food was off a good standard well presented and the staff were polite and informative, however my meat pie came with 7 chips and just two carrots which i felt was a bit insulting to the price of this meal, my wife had fruit and ice cream and this was 1 scoop of ice cream and 1 strawberry once again not great value, i would eat here again but don't expect a full plate thank you

Great food in dog friendly restaurant. Chicken was delicious and halibut to die for. Super puddings. Top class friendly service too.

Very disappointed in the rack of lamb that was impossible to cut and to eat. Offered alternative, chose pie but gravy was bitter and pie was dull, so won't return.

Excellent, all mains good, I had an excellent rib eye steak, perfectly cooked, 2 of my companions had halibut, equally good. Very nice pints of Timothy Taylor Landlord, great desserts, prompt and friendly service. Look forward to returning.

We had a lovely meal earlier week. Would recommend the soufflé and the beef strips for starters and I loved my Thai fish main - perfectly cooked fish with subtle flavours. Efficient attentive staff. Booked again for later this week for more soufflé!

Came for a 2-night spa break, and had 3 meals at The School House. Lovely bistro/cafe, great service and food was tasty. Lucker is a nice, quaint village and will absolutely be back!

Staff are fab, very friendly and chatty to me and my 16 year old daughter and her friend. And sooo lovely to the doggy of the family. The food is amazing and we couldn’t wait to return after our first two visits around 12 months ago and certainly weren’t disappointed. My husband was gutted he couldn’t join us this time.

We were in the HPB for a weekend stay & had booked a table for dinner on the Saturday. We visited the bar on three occasions & were welcomed by their friendly staff on each occasion. We arrived for dinner on the Saturday when it was very busy but again a friendly welcome. All Covid rules were in place & we had a lovely meal. Nice to have The Apple Inn on our door step.

Lovely food great service well worth a visit.

Super friendly service, lovely surroundings. Crab sandwich and caesar salad wrap very tasty. Even though there was no pasta on the kids menu, I asked if there was any possibility we could have a pasta dish for our 2 year old granddaughter and they made her a dish of mac and cheese especially for her, thank you, we will definitely return.

We ate at the Apple Inn for 3 nights during our stay in Lucker. Very good choice of food on the menu, especially when you are staying with 2 Gluten free and 1 Vegetarian . Food and service was excellent.

Booked an evening meal for five of us on a Tuesday evening. The Covid precautions that they had in place were excellent, at every point they succeeded in trying to keep everyone safe. The food was absolutely delicious, and all of the staff were lovely, professional and efficient. Keep up the good work and thank you. We will definitely return to the Apple Inn the next time we return to that part of England.
