The Apple Inn – BamburghWe have stayed at the Beau Monde spa for the last 5/6 years the food is delicious the service is second to none .Cottages are immaculate and nothing is a problem.I look forward to having my 60th in January.
The Apple Inn – BamburghLovely, friendly place and good food. Seems to be known for being dog friendly too. I'd happily return again.
The Apple Inn – BamburghWe have had 2 meals at the Apple this week whilst staying in Lucker. Both were delicious, excellent service and good value. We eat here every time we stay in the area and are never disappointed.
The Apple Inn – BamburghThe wonderful Apple Inn. You receive a warm welcome when you enter the Inn. The staff are friendly and attentive. There is a good selection of beers on tap. Then we come to the food and wow it is excellent. All bookings are staggered to ensure that the kitchen does not become overwhelmed. The meals are superb, I cannot fault them. They are and award winning Inn and their accolades are truly deserved.
The Apple Inn – BamburghExcellent food and good prices, better than most in the area. Service was a bit slow for dessert but overall a very enjoyable evening had by all. Highly recommended
The Apple Inn – BamburghFish and chips on Friday evening for four of us in the party. The ladies welcomed the option of a smaller portion. Beautifully cooked fish and chips. The mushy peas were excellent flavour. Only issue was the long wait for our meal to be served.
The Apple Inn – BamburghThis is our first visit and definitely not our last. The food was beautiful. We had fish and chips and it was the lightest tastiest batter I’ve ever had. The staff were so friendly and nothing was a problem. They were the same with everyone coming and going and very accommodating. I would recommend this to any of my friends who have dogs too. We didn’t take ours but will next time. The whole place had a lovely feel so good for the soul.
The Apple Inn – BamburghWhat a delightful dog friendly pub. We were staying at one of the cottages nearby and had booked a table on our first evening. We were made to feel so welcome and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The food was absolutely delicious, well cooked and plenty of it. The signature apple desert was exquisite and definitely would recommend this. The staff took time to chat and see that we had everything we needed.
The Apple Inn – Bamburghquick service, polite staff. Tasty food.

The Apple Inn – BamburghCan truely recommend the Apple Inn as a great place to eat and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Great food and drink, with freindly staff make an enjoyable evening out.
The Apple Inn – BamburghLovely Sunday lunch. Great value for money and the service was excellent with friendly welcoming staff.
The Apple Inn – BamburghBooked for evening meal on Sunday- only Sunday lunch menus on table so wrongly assumed the normal menu was not available- chose lamb for me and 3 meats for husband- also extra veg of cauliflower cheese and braised red cabbage. Advised lamb was a shank although not stated on the menu, but asked if I wanted slices- chose the slices. Meal arrived and although the lamb was very tasty it was the smallest portion I have ever seen, there wasn’t a single slice just very tiny bits that covered less than 2 inches across when placed together- however veg was outstanding and pleased I’d ordered extra. Hubby enjoyed his trio of meats and was happy to let me enjoy the veg. Food was very tasty but a bit mean on the meat front. Was very quiet but still a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff
The Apple Inn – BamburghWe had a lovely evening meal, fish and chips and the fish pie was delicious. We just had an issue when we ordered our deserts, sticky toffee pudding and a knickerbocker glory. We were waiting quite a while when the waitress noticed we hadn’t got them. When they came unfortunately the sticky toffee pudding was cold, the waitress did bring another one. The staff were all lovely. Would definitely visit again when we are in the area.
The Apple Inn – BamburghI've been asked to write a review for the breakfast, however, when we arrived at the School House there was a notice to say that meals were to be served in The Apple Inn instead without further explanation so unfortunately I can't give a review. We were booked in for afternoon tea too as part of our spa package and had to make our own enquiries about where that would be taken which again was in the Apple Inn. Slightly disappointed with that as there were no scones and wasn't served on traditional afternoon tea platters, a small detail I know but that's what makes it feel special
The School House – BamburghVisiting the local area and came across the lovely Apple Inn. What a delightful visit. It catered for all our many needs of GF, dogs, picky eaters and not breaking the bank which many do around here. The staff were so helpful and extremely friendly, the food was amazing, local great. We had a lovely memorable night out. We thought the portion sizes were on the smaller side but it wasn't the case once the plates were finished. The best part of it was there was room for dessert. Sadly, the signature was all sold out-guess that means we will just have to come back. The apple and cinnamon pie was delicious. Thanks to all the team for a lovely meal.
The Apple Inn – BamburghGreat Sunday lunch. Friendly staff and the roasts were excellent with well cooked vegetables. Apple pies and knickerbocker glories particularly admired!
