What a find ….. cute village close to the coast …. Some of the best food we have eaten ❤️

Lovely, relaxing pub with fantastic food, we have booked to go back again this week.

We had a lovely meal at the Apple Inn for our anniversary. The staff were pleasant, helpful and hardworking. The food was really nice and a lovely atmosphere. We would definitely go back!

Booked for celebration meal with friends on Saturday …. Excited to see chicken Kiev on the menu which 3 of us chose … menu was good and could have selected many of the dishes … Sadly the kitchen weren’t having a good night and all 3 chicken Kiev’s were lacking in garlic stuffing and totally over cooked to cardboard!! The rabbit and bacon pie was tasty but pastry undercooked …. Fortunately we were served by the very attentive owner who recognised it had all gone wrong and he was incredibly apologetic and immediately said there would be no charge for the 3 Kiev meals! He handled the whole situation brilliantly and offered to redo the meals but we declined…. Because of his attitude the evening was not ruined …. He is indeed a massive asset but they can ill afford to lose revenue because the chefs are not up to the mark… A pity as this is such a great venue with fantastic bar and setting ….. nevertheless we will go back again!

Brilliant would def recommend. Food was great and staff all amazing - shout out to the girl waiting on to our table, Megan, she was very good.

A very enjoyable evening at the Apple Inn. A great choice of gluten free options is very welcome. Food and drink was excellent, the prawn tacos definitely got a thumbs up and the local beer (Chinook) was excellent We particularly liked that we were not rushed with our food and the service was friendly and not overbearing. We will come back whenever we are back in Northumberland. Cheers Stuart

Booked a table at The Apple Inn whilst on holiday in Bamburgh. Excellent service from the moment we walked in . Good selection of food choices. We ordered the burgers and fish and chips. Scrumptious when it arrived with plenty to fill even the teenagers vast appetites. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area and will definitely return next time we are up this way

We had Sunday lunch (small) which was very nice although 2 very small roast potatoes for a roast and asking for £4 for more was a little cheeky! Breakfast at the school was great and booked to go again. We had another evening meal which again was very tasty and the ladies were working flat out to serve everyone. my wife had the Salmon special for £24 portion sizes very small not really worth the price when you can have Fish & Chips for 12 or 17 for large. Brilliant.

Good service food was lovely would definitely visit again

Whilst staying in lucker we ate at both the school house and the apple and thoroughly enjoyed both venues especially as they were so accommodating with our dog. Breakfast at the schoolhouse was lovely ,as were both dinner and Sunday lunch at the apple, service friendly and attentive, and the cinnamon apple pie was amazing.

Had a lovely breakfast yesterday. Food was lovely and staff welcoming. Brightened up a rainy morning.

The main was nice but it came out so quickly after we'd ordered so it must've been whacked in the microwave. But it was very nice. The cheeseboard was extremely poor. The cheeses on it were not the same as the ones on the menu. Then they replaced them with different cheeses, which were again not the same as the menu, but they were alright so I started eating it, only to notice that the grapes were all moldy. They took it off the bill as if that was doing us a favour, but at that point it'd put me off the whole experience.

We called by here yesterday for a birthday meal and I have to say we weren't disappointed. Excellent quick service by more than one very polite staff. Great choice of drinks and good menu and daily specials. We both ordered the fish and chips and I have to say I couldn't fault it. The large fish are very large but cooked to perfection in a lovely melt in your mouth batter. Served with lovely fat crisp chips and mushy peas...absolutely delicious. It's our second meal here and both have been fab. I can't rate this place highly enough. Can't wait to return for more .

The Sunday lunch was delicious. Good portions . Very pleasant and helpful staff . Comfortable dining area .
