I highly recommend this restaurant - the food was delicious and the service was great, the waiter was very attentive and helpful. I loved the Coco chicken curry platter - beautifully presented and so many different flavours. I will be back - can't wait to return.

We met Don too who was lovely. A big 5 out of 5 stars and we’ll be telling all our friends to go too!!

Colombo Street – NottinghamI’m Sri Lankan! Really high hopes for this restaurant! It was overall a good experience. The presentation, and dining experience was excellent though I was surprised to see such a formal setting for something branded as street food. The chicken curry portion was too small and quite watery which was disappointing. I would say the same about the daal. The aubergine was excellent and the highlight of the meal. Overall, lovely service but I probably wouldn’t come again. Sri Lankan’s love to feed people hearty portions with inexpensive ingredients! It’s a shame that wasn’t captured here.
Colombo Street – NottinghamThe best meal I’ve had out. I travel a lot in Sri Lanka and have Sri Lankan family. This restaurant, it’s staff, menu and quality of food is amazing. The flavours are traditional Sri Lankan And I felt like I was there. Every dish I had was delicious and they catered so well and made the chicken curry mild for my children. We loved it. Great spread of veg meat and fish dishes my favourite dish was the moju curry

Plumtree Fish and Chips – NottinghamI went a few weeks ago to this wonderful place, the food was marvellous, I had the fish and chip platter there was fish chips old spot sausage and they even swooped my calamari for scampi, nothing was too much for the staff> Definitely going back for a birthday meal x

The Cod’s Scallops – Nottingham11/09/2012 Diner booking for my mother's 88th birthday.Before even considering having a meal at this establishment visit it first and then make your own mind up?Our meal experience was poor, the restaurant is located on the first floor which made it difficult for elderly people. There was no light in the lift so plunged into darkness and on leaving the exterior lightening was not put on, which made it very hazardous.My 2 page letter of complaint never received a reply and on contacting them, staff just gave me the run around!Alex Polizzi please visit the restaurant!
Woodborough Hall – NottinghamFood excellent, customer service at the bar is appalling. I have been ignored on numerous occasions whilst waiting to be served. I usually get a "sorry" when I tell them I was there first, but it keeps happening. Basically if your better looking than the bar staff (which isn't hard) be prepared to fight for your drink!!
