Colombo Street – NottinghamExcellent food (sambals and sides very tasty), great menu choice of street food and Sri Lankan hospitality and service was good. Highly recommend.
Colombo Street – NottinghamAbsolutely loved the food here. The curries and condiments were amazing and so tasty. The service was brilliant also and a real taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. Will be coming back to try some more of the amazing dishes.
Colombo Street – NottinghamReally enjoyed my visit, the restaurant is spacious with plenty of room between tables. The food received a thumbs up from my Sri Lankan father who felt there was a lot of authenticity in the food. Main courses come with a variety of side dishes and sambals and was filling and tasty. Would definitely go back.
Colombo Street – NottinghamDelicious food and unbelievable service
Colombo Street – NottinghamFirst time visit. Fab food and a really great team front of house. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.
Colombo Street – NottinghamHad lovely food took us back to being in Sri Lanka. Don was a lovely host the staff where excellent, service and ambiance was Sri Lankan. Will definitely be back again
Colombo Street – NottinghamGreat food at a this new restaurant. Mixture of starters gave different flavours of street food snacks which I hadn’t tried before. Kottu was tasty, spicy without being too hot- nice fresh flavours. No room for dessert - too full Went mid to late afternoon, so very quiet at this point but nice surroundings
Colombo Street – Nottingham100% the best hoppers we’ve had in the UK (and I think we’ve tried the majority of Sri Lankan restaurants in the country!) Light, crispy and extremely tasty! We loved the menu so tried a lot of it and can safely say we enjoyed every dish. Would highly recommend the hopper platter, kottu roti, fried cauliflower and chicken wings. Everything was so fresh and flavoursome. We will be returning very soon!
Colombo Street – NottinghamLovely food. We all enjoyed our food. Good selection of vegan choices for one of our party
Colombo Street – NottinghamThe customer service and food were flawless. My family went for my birthday and had lunch here. Everyone was really impressed, even my sister who isn’t a huge fan of curries. The lunch deal was really reasonable and delicious for less than £7 for fried rice and a drink. I had the curry platter which was divine. Highly recommend!
Colombo Street – NottinghamHad a very enjoyable meal. Food was good and the staff very helpful.
Colombo Street – NottinghamGreat experience! Friendly staff, absolutely amazing staff. Great food, tasty and definitely had the street food vibe and texture. Cocktails were great too. Nice atmosphere. Overall a great experience, I'll definitely come back.
Colombo Street – NottinghamWe asked a couple of questions about menu items and the staff were not too sure of the answers. Service was at the right pace though and the food was delicious.
Colombo Street – NottinghamThe best food AND service I’ve had in years… and right in my home town of all places! The cauliflower ‘wings’ were outstanding, never tasted such a unique spice combo. My friend and I had the jackfruit curry ( I had hopper, he had Galle face roti), both sides were perfect accompaniments but the curry was mind blowing. Amazing how they’d managed to imitate cooking mutton with the spices alone. To top it off, the waitress offered to move us from being next to a table of 15 (if we wanted a quieter atmosphere), then the icing on the cake was assuredly the owner of the restaurant coming to offer us an extra vegan curry to sample. Again delicious.
Colombo Street – NottinghamExcellent food and service as well as good value for money. Would highly recommend,
