Lovely evening, so nice to feel “ back to normal “ Sam and the rest of the staff worked hard to make sure everyone was looked after and kept safe. Our starters and main course were fabulous! We will be back soon.

Quattro’s – OrmskirkAlways a lovely night here. Food is outstanding and the staff couldn’t be more pleasant or attentive. Couldn’t recommend enough .
Quattro’s – OrmskirkReturned with voucher after last abysmal experience. Food reasonable and waitress cheerful, however, after more customers arrived service fell off. Manager only appeared when paying bill. Wont be returning!
The Wine Bar, Town Green – OrmskirkI booked at short notice for a late lunch on Friday 7th December. My friend and I were really pleased at how the restaurant looked as we had not been before. The service was exceptional as was the food and at such a reasonable price will definitely be going again and will recommend to all our friends.
The Cork – OrmskirkTruly deserving of all its accolades. A really first class meal. We eat at Michelin starred places regularly and this was one the best yet!
Moor Hall – Restaurant with Rooms – OrmskirkA lovely and character filled historical pub canal side in Lathom Burscough. Very busy on a Thursday lunch which says a lot for the place. I ordered the cheese and onion toastie which was very pleasant. Good service and clean and tidy. Like to try their beers sometime.
The Ship Inn – OrmskirkGorgeous lunch! chicken piri pri wrap with fries. Tasty and filling in very nice surroundings!
Piri Piri – OrmskirkWhat a lovely pub. This is not a part of the world I’m too familiar with and this had more the feel of a Cotswold pub rather than one in Lancashire. Packed on an overcast Sunday and easy too see it draws in people from miles around (as Bispham Green is fairly out of the way).
Eagle And Child – OrmskirkVery much enjoyed my impromptu lunch at the Town Green Brasserie. The staff were very accommodating with my request for plug and wifi. Even the chefs were friendly. My breaded haddock on creamed spinach was great. The place to go in Ormskirk
The Wine Bar, Town Green – OrmskirkFirst time here with partner and newborn, food was fantastic and service was to high standards. Looked after so well. Perfect for families, accommodated all of our baby needs. Great atmosphere would definitely recommend the barnyard and will be returning very soon :-) well worth a visit.
Barnyard – OrmskirkI've eaten a few times now and each time the food has been superb. The burgers and milkshakes are great, I'd certainly recommend trying Bentleys.
Bentleys – OrmskirkWhat can I said about this place that doesn't already seem to have been said before. Beautifully decorated with amazing, friendly guys who own & run it. The feeling of 'welcome' is evident from the moment you walk in. It's like being at a friend's home. The food. WOW. Simple and stunning and in plentiful quantity. Fresh, beautifully presented and very, very reasonable in cost. I can't recommend this place any higher. Thank you & good luck
Bentleys – OrmskirkWe loved our Sunday lunch at the Town Green Brasserie yesterday. My soup and roast chicken were gorgeous as was my sponge pudding. My wife and kids seemed very happy with their choices too!
The Wine Bar, Town Green – OrmskirkExcellent food and value. 2 meals for £10 and 2 courses too. Its was delicious and out weighs the cost. Tremendous value and fabulous service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Piri Piri – OrmskirkFantastic food - I've been many times with family and with friends. This is a very different type of Chinese food, a very clean taste, no gloopy sources. The staff are fantastic and will tell you if you have ordered too much, which is unusual. The decor is quite plain which is not a problem, the place is spotlessly clean and the price is good. I absolutly recommend the Cherry House
The Cherry House – OrmskirkMawdesley is very much a posh Surrey commuter village dumped in to the flattest, drabbest and obscure area of Lancashire. The village has a reputation locally as being somewhere a bit snobby and inbred. Indeed you're far more likely to hear Home Counties accents around here than Lancashire ones. Parking up, opposite the tiny village shop, flanked by the most Range Rovers I've ever seen in one place, at one time - I entered the Red Lion with some trepidation. It had been a few years since my last visit, and that wasn't exactly great experience. Fortunately the new management appeared to have opened the place out. It now seemed that people outside Mawdesley visited there. Last time I visited it was like something out of The Hills Have Eyes. A sea of locals all gawping because "a non-local" had dared to set foot in their tiny village pub. Anyway it wasn't quite that bad this time, The local, yokels must have been doing whatever they do in Mawdesley - which aside from inbreeding and driving Range Rovers doesn't seem much. Anyway that's beside the point. The drinks I had were OK, the atmosphere OK. An improvement on last time certainly.
Red Lion At Mawdesley – OrmskirkWell the Town Green has had a hell of a transformation. A slick and modern brasserie style eatery has replaced a boozer. Open all day from breakfast onwards. A great well priced menu and professional service that you would expect from a Seafood Pub Company venue. I would imagine this will become the restaurant of choice in Ormskirk!
The Wine Bar, Town Green – OrmskirkQuick service, great breakfast, sorry that I hadn't left enough room for one of the lovely cakes on display. Afternoon tea on my next visit.
Boathouse Brasserie – Ormskirk
