The best value food on recent holiday using the daily specials
Montys – Plymouthwe went here for a birthday treat and were treated to a great night! nothing was too much trouble for the staff or management and they played a fanfare, happy birthday song and cliff richards "congratulations" while they brought the cake out. we will be back.
Frankie and Bennys – PlymouthMe and my boyfriend came here after reading good reviews on this website, we had homemade burgers which were quite nice but should be for £23 for 2 burgers 1 pint and a soft drink!
Blues Bar and Grill – PlymouthI am not sure that I can add to what has already been said below but I think the combination of food, wine, presentation, ambiance and most of all staff were outstanding. I have eaten all over the world in many top restaurants and this is right up there with the best of them.
Chloe’s Restaurant – PlymouthThis is the second time we have been to Chloe's and the experience has got even better. The quality of food, service, ambience and presentation that they offer for £30 (3 courses) is quite outstanding. The food is exquisite, the taste amazing and the presentation of each course is exceptional. Most highly recommended.
Chloe’s Restaurant – Plymouthstaff here are extremely friendly and helpful. Clean, fantastic decor and generous servings of meals at a average, reasonable cost. would definitely go again
Frankie and Bennys – PlymouthExcellent all round and we were even allowed time to use the a la carte although we had to leave for the threatre. top marks all round
Chloe’s Restaurant – Plymouthnice friendly pub grub. outside area is a lovely suntrap in the summer and good range of beers
Morley Arms – PlymouthIn a nice location with a nice outside area, this is a lovely place to go with friends and family. Straightforward English pubgrub of a generous size and a nice friendly atmosphere
Lockyers Quay – PlymouthMy husband and I popped in on the off chance and really wanted to try the 'fish side', however they were fully booked for a birthday lunch. We therefore went to the 'pub side' and had the special lunch menu. Whilst the portions were 'small' they were adequate although I too found some of the dishes a little on the salty side, hence 'very good' rather than 'outstanding'. The home made bread was a definite plus and I would certainly return, just hold the salt a little!
Rose And Crown – PlymouthFor large parties and hen nights, this is a great place to go and suits all ages. Food is good and the staff although they are busy, are very good. Can get very busy around xmas time but with a dancefloor playing classics afterwards, it provides for a very entertaining evening!
Grecian Taverna The – PlymouthA great place to enjoy a large American size plate of excellent food, the staff are so happy and helpful, the jukebox is playing all the classic rock hits and to finish of if you are into cars then keep one eye on the car park.
Route 38 – PlymouthHad a very enjoyable meal last night. Although it was very busy, the staff still had time to talk and explain the dishes. In fact they could not have been more helpful. We even had a free glass of champagne which I found out about through this website (special offers)
I had my birthday here last year. There was about 12 of us and it was one of the best nights. The staff went out of there way to make it a fantastic evening. The music was excellent and everyone was encouraged to dance. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to have a great evening with good food.
Grecian Taverna The – PlymouthWent for a slap up meal with a group of friends, it turned out to be a great night with excellent food and good fun too. Good wine and a cracking selection of real ales. If you dont try it you will never know what you are missing. (I had the most beautiful piece of steak ever)
Foxhound Inn The – PlymouthOne of the best places to taste a specials menu ! My only concern is that the ''Menu'' is west country based/themed but it has Moroccan chicken, lots of welsh dishes and tons of cheese and mash potato. Rooms are lovely and worth the money and the hotel is not slap bang in the city centre
Fishbone Restaurant and Bar – PlymouthThe food as usual was very fresh and delicious. It is my fave place in Plymouth!
Village Restaurant The – PlymouthI love this place! it's my favourite restaurant and me and my boyfriend make an effort to come here once a month! the creme brulee and chocolate fondant are to die for and they have a great selection of yummy starters and main dishes. The service is so friendly also. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone!
B.E.D! – Plymouth
