The staff were very responsive and polite upstairs, except for the front desk lady. She was very impolite and did not have a welcoming attitude from her face. After I made a payment, she need to give me the receipt instead of I need to take it from the card machine. She need to improve her attitude towards the customer.

First visit to Spoons, my son wanted to go for his birthday. There were 5 of us all paying 19.99 each. First impression was I thought we'd made a massive mistake, the girl on the front desk was rude and ignorant. I've never experienced anything like it before. Fortunately upstairs we were received in a more friendly manner. On the whole we stuck with the Chinese food which was plentiful. There are many other options but it wasn't busy and the food looked like it had been sitting around some time. Some food was cold I think you need to stir stuff to get to the warmth. The place was kept very clean and staff cleared use plates quickly. I was disappointed that soft drinks are no longer included and the refillable drinks are unbranded so I stuck with water which they'd only serve me in a small tupperware cup! Bit naff for a special occasion meal. Other soft drinks were limited regarding low sugar options. The non drivers drank beer. My husband has told everyone he's spoken to today about the woman on the front desk, so bad PR for them. It's also really noisy even when not busy, big industrial air conditioning droning, I mention this as I know some people are affected by this. Good Chinese buffet with an identity crisis and a front of house staff issue. Bit expensive unless you like to overeat. Desserts limited, felt like they'd all be purchased in Costco. Parking free for 3 hours in cascades.

We went for our sons 12th birthday is a really friendly service and really well priced they play the birthday tune when the cake comes out definitely recommend for a nice meal out as you have a variety of foods and desserts

Food wasn't very fresh or very hot. Sushi was dried out. Tepanyaki was oily, burnt on the outside, raw in the middle and inedible. At least the plates were cleared quickly.

Nice evening out , lots of different types of food to try and plates were quickly cleared away .

Friendly staff fresh hot food reasonable pri e for the choice normally go at 5 in the evening never had a problem getting a table the front of house staff always so polite

We headed over from the Isle of Wight, as my daughter wanted to go there as a treat. But ended up disappointed as we were met by the receptionist telling me that anyone over 150cm pays full price. I was disgusted, both children in my party that had to pay full price barely ate half of what an adult would eat. Both 12 years old. Experience was ok and food selection was good. But we will not be rushing back at those prices. My value for money score is based on who is an adult and who is a child. I can’t argue with £20 for an adult but children should be up until 16 at least.

3rd time visiting We we’re there at half 12 ,good choice in food but food was cold , visited twice before later in the day and had no problems . Not impressed this time would have thought it would all be fresh and hot at the beginning of lunch .

the overall experience was very good although my husband got a pork and shrimp bun that was off already, the meat inside was so smelly that of rotten food. I did take it to the manager and complained.He just said thank you.

Table was booked for 730 and they weren’t cooking anymore food which wasn’t made clear. We felt rushed and was told to get dessert quickly as they were clearing away, this was at 830 even though it shut at 10. Food was also warm not hot.

First time at spoons There was 10 of us for my daughters birthday 6 adults & 4 The food was lovely and hot the variety of good & clean and the children absolutely loved it and The freedom to pick what they wanted like little adults definitely do another trip .

First time visiting. Wouldn't go back. Food was freezing, no matter what chicken dish we grabbed, it was pink on the inside. Dirty tables and dirty plates. Miserable stuff walking around. Terrible value for money. We ate half a plate then left and had to go elsewhere for dinner.

It was our first time. There were five of us including kids. It is a busy place, the food is very good, service is good, welcoming and accommodating. We had a great time! The kids loved the dessert buffet and sushi conveyor. Thank you.

Honestly never fails to amaze me, and continues to improve with each visit. I visited with some friends who had never been on Tuesday the 13th, and there was even pancakes there for pancake day. Truly the best all you can eat buffet I have ever been to. Not only is there variety, the food itself is sensational. I also love how you can try new things and the staff never look judgey if you do not finish your plate, and want to get up for something else.

After several issues reference booking a table,we found Spoons ok,Staff we're polite,happy,friendly nothing was too much bother.Food was plentiful and there was a huge selection,depending on what you fancied.To be honest we preferred Spoons compared to the all you can eat restaurant in Fareham.It was valve for money & the drinks we're not very expensive either.We will be back sometime in the near future.

As always very good service, good food and very enjoyable, very good value for money we have been a couple of times and never been disappointed

Terrible. Fatty meat. Pasta and pizza awful. Not all food stations were open. Had a cup of water in a child’s cup. Most of all I booked after looking up the prices online and was £14.99 per person. When we arrived it was £18.99 per person. I told the person that took my money that you need to update your website with prices. She said that is down to the customer. Will never go back.
