The food here is excellent and the standard is consistent. True, they do get very busy at weekends and you sometimes have to wait a while for your meal so its worth ordering starters to put you on. However the wine is very reasonably priced, and its a lovely place to sit and chat over a bottle while you wait for your food - believe me it's well worth the wait.

I have dined here on numerous occasions over the years and each time has been a pleasure. Excellent food even has a variety of sweets. Need to make reservation for Friday and Saturday. Also do takeaways. The staff are friendly and the service is great.

Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Wyre. Been a number of times and always really enjoyed the meal. The staff were most attentive and a very good selection of dishes on the menu. With excellent service and atmosphere included in the very reasonable price.

Like Mike Tyson, Tony Blair and Schumacher, The Mews started to believe it's own publicity and paid the price - or rather the customers did. We had been there a number of times and always been more than satisfied but of late it has been overcrowded, over-booked and over-blown. The seats, especially upstairs are crammed in to get as many clients as possible in, the service is slow to non-moving and the standard of the food has slipped as well. It would do well to return to its early days and standards; more is not necessarily better, especially in the restaurant industry.

To anyone who remembers Chinese restaurants in the 70's, this will be a welcome visit. Recently redecorated, the same family have been running it for many years and still treat all their customers as special. The menu can be chopped and changed at will and the banquets are just that. There is a 'doggy-bag' service if you can't eat it all as well as a prompt and reliable take-away service.

A good restaurant for a celebration, with a great atmosphere. The food was well presented, but distinctly lacking in flavour, and I was not impressed with the service. The waiters and waitresses made too much of a fuss of collecting plates etc and really werent very chatty at all. Considering how much my friends rate this place, my first visit was more disappointing.

I went to Grapevine when my family came down from Yorkshire the whole evening was very pleasant as we were seated upstairs while our table was ready with a lovely view of the square. The meal itself was excellent, you definitely got value for money as all of our main courses were very filling and were full of flavour fully enjoyable and i would definitely recommend, and I do believe since we have been they have recently done an outstanding refurbishment.

Fabulous restaurant - have been here a number of times and the food is always outstanding. Cant understand some of the other reviews - even when busy this restaurant has always made the extra effort to be welcoming.

I was surprised that it was so busy on a week night, but I wasn't impressed. It was too hot inside - we had to ask for the heating to be turned down - and although the service was very good the food was only ok.

The food here is amazing, I have been many times and never been disappointed, the surroundings are also excellent and the service is very friendly.

I have been to the Mews consistently for over 3 years and have never been disappointed. This restaurant is a breath of fresh air in Poulton - and if you get the chance sit upstairs on the floor - a must for parties!

Very nice meals served in large portions. A great place to eat anytime of the day.

Think they have gone too big, was great when at Bispham, alot smaller and friendlier. Service was slow, food was average, although lots of it. Looks more like school canteen than a restaurant. Will try it again though, just to make sure!!

Nice place to do lunch with friends, nice seating areas and setting. No childs menu though. Fast service, good menu, a little expensive.

Excellent food and at night is even better. Great music and great atmosphere, best place to be on a friday or saturday night.

This must be the best place in the country for take away food. Staff are always friendly and the premises are kept clean and well presented. Just one problem I have found...it is closed on Mondays.
