Tii House – PrescotJust returned from the Spice Inn after a nice meal with good service, but I will not be returning after paying £4.60 for a pint of fosters lager and £3.50 for a glass of coke, I do not expect to pay these prices for a restraunt attached to a local pub. Sorry but its just wrong.
The Spice Inn – PrescotRecently visited ho's and had a lovely meal, huge portions and very friendly staff. Regularly get takeaways and they too are lovely.
Ho’s Restaurant – PrescotHad few meals here. excellent. one of the best Indians in Merseyside.
The Spice Inn – PrescotFour of us went for the first time last saturday - but it wont be the last time we go there! We had a wonderful meal sitting a booth upstairs. The service was impeccable and the food superb. Highly recommended
Kozi – PrescotThe food is very good, staff very friendly,we go there for special occasions and really enjoy it, will keep on going there..
Ho’s Restaurant – PrescotI have now been several times to the Watch Maker in Prescot as today was one of those visits. Unfortunately I will not be going again, time and time again the food served has not been up to standard. Today I order a meal which was not available so I settled for fish and chips etc. I think the fish must have been cooked several days ago as I needed a hammer just to break through the batter. This is not the first time the food has been substandard also the service is very long winded nearly 40 minutes to be served with my meal, the pub was not overly busy with orders and I was not the only one to be kept waiting. One couple went several times to see where their order was (they were in before me). You also wait a long time to be served at the bar (wait are the bar staffs' problems? Do they not want to serve the public (at the end of the day the public pay their wages)?I think this premises needs to be quietly monitored. When it first opened it was brilliant but now it seems to have lost it's shine. I will not be going again for food.
Jd Wetherspoons – PrescotExcellent Indian meal ! Took elderly parents who don't eat many Indian meals to which the waiter guided them through the menu, fantastic night! Highly recommend.
The Spice Inn – PrescotWell priced, and always made to feel welcome by the friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Sing Ping – PrescotNew Years eve. Booked table for three , three weeks ago to make sure we got in ok. Got there on time and stood up in reception area near bar for 20 mins in a crowd of people, some of whom had been waiting three quarters of an hour without so much as a drink. Tried to speak to waiter numerous times who did his best to ignore me.Averted his eyes at all times and mumbled something about waiting for tables to empty before taking another takeaway order. Walked out. What a way to treat customers. No apology , no drink, no meal. will never go again.
Crown of India – PrescotWent to kozis last night food was amazing and so was the service by Jay.
Kozi – PrescotI have visited the Crown of India twice now, once on a Saturday in November and also on new years eve. I will start with the good point- the food is very nice. The service however is dreadful. the first time i thought it was a one off which is why is returned, the second time was even worse. Booked a table for 7.30 and arrived on time, wasn't seated until 8.10pm and was not offered a drink whilst i waited or a menu to read. we had to ask several time if we could order and finally our order was taken at 9pm. We didn't get plates with the poppadoms or cutlery with the starters (that arrived at 9.30). Our main meals came out at apx 10pm and the 4 year old that was with us was very tired and hungry by this point. Constantly asking to order drinks, that then fail to arrive. charged for 6 rounds of drinks when only had 4 rounds, would not refund for the two rounds of drinks. not one apology for the fact that we had waited so long for everything. will never return or recommend.
Crown of India – PrescotRuined New Year.Booked table for three around three weeks ago to make sure we got in OK. Walked out. Ordered a takeaway from Ajmeer Tandoori Rainhill (very good). What a way to treat customers. No apology , no drink, no meal. will never go again.
Crown of India – Prescothave a sit down meal here and you will be in love with it but have a take away and you will hate it.. food is amazing service is great when you sit in but when you take away then you will wait for about an hour for your food, and this is on collection because they don't deliver.
Crown of India – PrescotI went to Blue Mango's Sunday buffet and I have honestly never been treated so badly by a restaurant before. When we arrived it was a ghost town, which should have sent alarm bells ringing but I decided to give them a chance. The food was mediocre to say the least and very limited choice for a buffet. After finishing our first plate I asked the waiter if we could have clean plates and was promptly told no that I would have to use the same plate if I wanted to return to the buffet. I didn't like the korma that I had on my first plate enough to see it mixed in with another food so I decided not to get anything else. We got up and left and paid a total of £28 for two plates of watery food, two poppadoms, a glass of juice, a glass of water and a rude waiter. I complained to the manager, was laughed at and told "You can't please everyone". Who can blame him for laughing really, when I'd just forked over £28 for cheap bland food and poor service.
Blue Mango Restaurant – PrescotI had heard good reports of the Crown of India so I thought I would give it a go. For a first time customer I was very unimpressed. I ordered a takeaway and was told it would be ready for 8.15pm. I duly arrived on time but had to wait until 8.45pm!!! There is a bar there and a nice waiting area so you would have thought that I would have been offered a drink whilst I waited, but no! Also the complimentary chicken wings were completely raw!!! My main mean (Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi) was ok in fairness, but I would need alot of convincing to return again!!
Crown of India – PrescotMy wife and I have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions and cannot fault it, price service and most of food are all quality..
