In my opinion this is the best Indian Restaurant in Redditch!! It truly is an undiscovered gem! The food is excellent. It is presented as if you were eating at a high class Haute cuisine restaurant. The service is truly exceptional, fast and very child friendly. The menu is varied and exciting. At Christmas my extended family enjoyed a brilliant meal. There were 10 of us and all our tastes were catered for and the service was very helpful and friendly. Thanks for making our celebration truly wonderful!

Arranged to meet up with a friend, booked into the Travel Lodge next door, we went for a meal in the restaurant, I found it very hard to choose as they had such a wide range on the regular menu and the special menu to match, the food was excellent the staff were very accommodating, its a shame they do not open early enough to serve breakfast for the Travel Lodge next door.

Within walking distance of Holiday Inn Express in Redditch (2 mins). Excellent food, not licensed so you take your own beer/wine or whatever. Reasonably priced - we paid £28 for 3 including starters and the service was excellent and very friendly too. Only downside was it was a little hot inside, other than that it really was a fab meal. Don't be put off as it doesn't look much from the outside.

Called in to the "Why Not" today as passing trade. The food was excellent and the size of the meals were generous to say the least, piping hot and tasty. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Although the decor wasn't as "posh" as one of the pubs further down the road, it was clean and even the ladies toilet had hand washing liquid, hand cream etc and paper towels. What's more the food was about half the price of the "posher" pub. If I get the chance I will go back and take my friends with me. Thanks veery much "Why not" staff. By the way I am no relation to anyone at this pub and have never been there before. I am happily going to give them my e-mail address as I will be interested to hear of anything they have to offer in the future and may even consider them for a future party.

Awful! Waited an hour in a near empty pub for a combo on which the wedges were completely uncooked, the prawns in batter were cold and uncooked, the onion rings were burnt and the nachos were stale! The staff couldn't care less as they are all students. Bar staff put half pint behind bar to wait for it to settle but didn't say a word and went to serve someone else leaving us wondering if she'd forgotten/was changing barrel/misheard order. No communication!

Meadow Farm is always busy, and i don't know why! I can only assume its due to hotel guests? Food is your usual mass produced lack luster pub grub with nothing to make it stand out from the crowd. Its saving grace is its bar with a well looked after cellar and an excellent choice of beers. Worth the trip just for the beer:)

I have been going to Seven Spice for the last four years and have never been disappointed in the food. The restaurant decor has been improved although it is still basic, however this is not a bad thing. The prices are very reasonable and we always leave smiling.

this is one of the best restaurants i been to

I took my husband here for a birthday meal. The food was faultless. the service was outstanding. We were not rushed. The table was ours for the night. We decided to have our coffee in the smoking area and relayed our idea to the hostess. A table was promptly reserved for us. If we had to find fault....... we just couldn't. Each course seemed to outsmart the previous and the puddings are to die for. We just emptied our pockets of pound coins for the tips.

An excellent restaurant tucked away in the country. Well recommended, will go again.

OK for a quick meal but not a true restaurant

We have always enjoyed the food at Shahi Palace since it first opened! We now crave a 'Shahi' curry but have a baby and don't get out as much. We miss the ambience of the restaurant and just have to make do with a take-away nowadays....which is just as good!
