About 19 Saltburn

19 Saltburn is a new relaxed fine dining venue that opened in Saltburn-by-the-Sea in September 2023. The focus is on local and seasonal ingredients, well-presented dishes packed with flavour and with a wine list to match. Head Chef Dave McBride’s nine-course dinner menu is served from 6pm-8pm Wednesday to Friday along with an optional wine flight. There’s Sunday Lunch too and you can also drop in during the day for coffee and a cake.

Visited for Sunday lunch as a birthday treat for my mum. We found the place to be visually stunning with friendly and attentive staff. I had my one year old with me which can sometimes be a bit hit and miss but I found the staff to be very accommodating. The food was absolutely exquisite, its hard to imagine Sunday lunch to be a treat but this is fine dining at its finest and I would urge everyone to try it for themselves. This place has the quality without the pretention and I'm looking forward to training my daughter up to the full five courses! Will definitely be back.

Utterly superb food. The cooking was exquisite married to such wonderful presentation. A delight for the eyes and the tastebuds. I cannot recommend 19 highly enough. Quite the epitome of fine dining with such welcoming, informed and friendly staff. A real wow factor experience. We’ll be back.
