Lovely place all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. Two of us being the hardest to please my gluten free 5 and 6 year old who not only got child friendly portions but also got a choice of gluten free meals. We will defo visit again. But what really made this place other than the excellent food was the owners. Thank you.

We took our grandchildren we chose AJs because our granddaughter is coeliac. She had choice of practically everything on the menu, even a bread roll!! The food was superb for all of us. We shall go again even without the grandchildren, an excellent restaurant. Also very very friendly.

i have been here about 3 or 4 times love it.. food is always amazing especially the beef stroganoff its the best I've ever tasted...infact i think its about time i went back, been a while..the place is very romantic and quaint and run by a lovely family and great hostess!

We were visiting Blackpool for the day, and because Rebekah has coeliacs, we thought that we would definitely check AJ's Bistro out. Upon arrival, the staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful, cheerful and happy to explain what on the menu was available gluten free. After five minutes within ordering, our meals were already ready. The times we waited were unlike any other restaurant. Overall, I'd highly recommend this over any other place in this area! We had the two course menu, which consisted of a starter and main, for only £8.95 each, PLUS a free glass of wine! Food quality : 9/10 Speed : 10/10 Staff friendliness : 10/10 Interior and seating : 9/10 Value for money : 10/10 If you go to Blackpool, please visit Aj's Bistro, you won't regret it! 28/01/2011
The Shelton And Fosters
Our two families have been coming to Blackpool for generations, our family many moons ago owned the Marina hotel on St Chads rd. Anyway, we always visit every year for the lights and stay for the weekend, every year we have the same problem of finding a nice place to eat, well, I can now claim, we have found "our place to eat" The warm welcome, the choice in the menu, the flexibility to suit our fussy kids, and then of course the absolutely fabulous food, we were talking about the meal and sweet for days afterwards. We are coming back to Blackpool again, as usual, later in 2011 and we have already decided what we are having from the menu. This was the best meal I have had in years. Excellent service and the food was out of this world. They made my 34st Wedding Anniversary special. My ice cream Sunday to finish was so good my mouth is still watering!!! Would love to go for Christmas dinner as I am sure the atmosphere will be brilliant. Good luck for the future and we will be back.
