Al Nawaz

This is a recommendation NOT to go there. Myself, my partner and a friend went there late on Saturday night. We ordered poppadums, 3 curries, 1 rice, 1 nan & 2 pints of soda water and one pint of coke. The food arrived in good time however, it tasted horrible. The chicken was fatty and I left a lot. In fact most of us left it, my partner eating one mouthful. Too greasy! We made a complaint but the Manager presented us with the bill of £38. We had been charged £2.50 each for 1 pint soda water & diet coke. I complained that the bill was too high but the Manager said that that was the price and to pay it. I was absolutely disgusted by this. This restaurant should be a big swerve. Its tired looking on the inside & the staff though polite do not understand customer service. We should have taken into account the lack of diners when we entered however, we just put the reason down to the economic climate. £2.50 for a pint of soda water!!! I will never go here again.

My partner and I had our first meal together here (sounds bad lets go to rusholme) but bads not a word to be mentioned with al nawaz it was a very nice evening that I really enjoyed with my boyfriend. The food was faultless I also noticed the menu did cater for the traditional English meals aswell with fish & chips etc. a nice place can't wait to return!
