Stone floors, original wooden beams and real fires give the Alma Inn real character and it's a favourite for weddings and events. It sits hidden away in the beautiful and unspoilt countryside on the Lancashire-Yorkshire border near Colne and is close to Wycoller Country Park, made fanmous by the Bronte sisters. The main dining room can seat up to 85 and there is also a beautiful al fresco area out front for summer dining. Head chef Jordan Hadfield has been at the Alma Inn for nine years and signature dishes include the Alma fish pie, which includes haddock and prawns baked in parsley sauce with mash potato and Lancashire cheese crumb, hake bourguignonne, which is roast hake with bacon and brioche crumb, dauphinoise potatoes, red wine shallots and chestnut mushrooms, plus the classic Alma favourite, the trio of beef. Nine luxurious ensuite bedrooms are all equipped with the latest facilities, ideal for both leisure and corporate guests. The Alma Inn is one of eleven venues in the Seafood Pub Company.
