Visiting from Newcastle and booked this as liked the sound of the tapas and cocktails. It’s a nice little place and the staff are friendly but it could do with some music in the background where you dine as it was just a bit dull..
The food: the price of the tapas does not reflect the quality. The patatas bravas was basically wedges in tomato passata. It had little taste. The pork belly was cooked nice but was described as being glazed which it wasn’t.. however, the hummus and bread were lovely! Lastly, the cocktails: I had a margarita which tasted like fruit salad sweets and my husband had a cherry mojito - both of which were far too sweet. I’m not convinced the margarita was even made with tequila as I couldn’t see any on the bar. Overall, we left very underwhelmed.

booked this wine bar after looking online and viewing the menu - was looking forward to a variety to choose from
On arriving the menu online wasn’t what we were given and 3 of my choices had been removed!
Bit disappointing and hoping we will call back once the tapas is up and running

The disappointing:
The atmosphere lacked. We felt the decor needed more to make it inviting. It felt sterile.
We had to sit with coats on, as every time the door opened, we had a cold blast around our table position and it wasn’t placed near the entrance door.
Staff dressed very casual in jogging pants, sweatshirts and Crocs.
The good:
The food was excellent.
The table service was also very good with staff been attentive .
We wouldn’t rush back until some changes are made.
