well worth a visit. Friendly yet professional staff and an all round great atmosphere. The food is a bit pricey compared to similar places, but you certainly get what you pay for, it was delicious, perfectly cooked and well presented. I will be going back soon.

The new chefs menu is an absolute delight. The variety of dishes made the decision difficult even the veggie option was appealing. The lamb was falling off the bone and melting in the mouth. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and overall a great place to go.

Mid week the food seems to be more palatable than at the weekends. More time was spent on the presentation than ensuring that the food was hot. They need to take a leaf from Nectar's in Hale - locally sourced produce (where possible). Gordon Ramsay would whip the kitchen and menu into shape.
I sincerely hope that things improve so that I can enjoy a local venue and feel rest assured that the quality of food will be consistent.

I was taken here for my birthday two years ago for the first time. I had a 7 course meal, lots of lovely entrees served with excellent wines that were recommended to us by experienced waiters. A lovely setting to sit before and after dinner, the only disappointment was that it was so quiet in the restaurant, only 3 couples on a Saturday night.
