Fabulous! Nice friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in with some delicious specials and a great menu. Good plonk too for those wine buffs! It's a must!! Ps... have also now used them for outside catering which was very well organised too.

Fiona and her brother Callum, together with their respective partners have been involved in running several catering establishments in this area but for me this is their best effort ever: Superb great-value, freshly prepared food in a delightful setting served by professionals giving excellent and genuinely friendly service - what more could you possibly want?

Feb 2008 / Bon Amis. Went to Bon Amis for an evening meal. Food, wine and service was excellent. Ordered off the specials board, good size portions, great presentation and the food was superbly cooked. The restaurant is quaint with a really good atmosphere. Would definitely go back for a meal soon!

We had a fabulous meal at Bistro Bon Amis. The decor is in the style of a French bistro (unsurprisingly), but a lovely extra touch is being able to have a drink at the bar whilst you wait for your starter to be prepared. Always a good sign when the bistro was full all night - not surprising as the food was top notch and clearly all made from fresh produce. I'm a vegetarian whilst my husband is a confirmed carnivore, and we were both able to enjoy a delicious meal (carrot and coriander soup for me followed by Moroccan tagine on a tasty couscous with tsatsizi; my husband had delicious juicy pan fried king prawns on bruchetta followed by Rib eye steak with the most amazing chunky potato wedges). Wine is across a good range of budgets. We decided to splash out on the Amorone, which was still reasonable and delicious. Fab food, excellent friendly staff and worth a visit just to see the quirky toilets!

Good service, friendly atmosphere. Excellent food, the best duck I've ever tasted! Toilets are exceptional.
