About Bodega

Bodega Southbourne is a new tapas bar that has a sister venue in Christchurch. By day, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or a catch up over a coffee and in the evenings the lively atmosphere makes it the ideal destination for a romantic dinner or a girls’  night out. The menu features authentic tapas and pintxos crafted by Head Chef Quentin Royles who draws his inspiration from his travels through Spain, particularly Andalusia, and his dishes are expertly paired with fine Spanish wines and sherries. There’s live music and DJs at the weekend at Bodega and private hire for special parties and events is available too.

Great evening had by all. A buzzing yet relaxed atmosphere. Quality of food was great with lots of choice. As good as anything you'd get in Spain. We will be back almost certainly to choose the tapas we didn't have this time round.

Party of 4 booked for Saturday evening for our first visit here. Front of house very welcoming and sorted out drinks at the bar then showed us to our table. Food choices were good and waiting staff very happy to answer any questions. Mix of tapas dishes worked really well washed down with wine, mocktails, beer. Good busy atmosphere with table service at just the right speed. Definitely worth another visit.

Had a great evening at Bodega on Saturday. The front of house staff were very welcoming and had good knowledge of the menu, they made sure we had everything we needed. The food was really delicious with a good variety to suit everyone’s tastes. The atmosphere was warm and friendly with a good vibe. We will definitely going back.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Bodega last Thursday and were blown away by the amazing tapas. So many beautiful dishes to choose from. The staff are so attentive and passionate about the food they serve. We are already salivating over the menu as to what we will have on our next visit. Thanks to you all.

We had a large table for the bottomless brunch on Saturday and it was such a lovely atmosphere, it felt really vibrant in there. We were really well looked after, the service was fantastic (thank you so much to Beth!) and the food was super tasty. It was really good value and will definitely be back soon!
