HAVING EATEN IN ALOT OF INDIAN RESTAURANTS ALL AROUND THE WORLD AND IN THE UK I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST. NOT ONLY IS THE FOOD OUTSANDING BUT THE SERVICE IS SECOND TO NONE.THE OWNER HAQUE IS ONE OF THE NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET, HE CANNOT DO ENOUGH FOR YOU , YOU ARE REALLY MADE TO FEEL AT HOME. this is fantastic, the owner has hired the best Indian chef in the uk after his award winning meals and skills, it is not over dear to eat there and the meals are in large sizes. the place is clean and ALWAYS tidy the staff are polite and welcoming. i am never out the place and i think that it is the best in cumbria if not the uk, hawk the owner has done something very special with this place i just hope it never closes.

My wife and myself visited Cagneys along with two friends on Saturday 22nd July. The food was amongst the best Indian food which we have had in Great Britain, and the restaurant was full, which is always a good sign. We will have no hesitation in making the 190 mile round trip just to eat at Cagneys again. I speak from some experience, having spent some years in the Far East.
