Visited Casa Mia Grande for the meal deal of Chef choice of starter, pasta and a glass of wine for £10, very good value and the food was lovely, my only moan would be the barmaid in the attached bar needs to be a bit more friendly, maybe she can ask the staff in Zed bar for some lessons.

Went there on a Monday night using a Hi- life card. Only ourselves and 4 other diners were there.
I ordered a bottle of house white, the waiter said that this was not a good idea and that I should order a different one instead costing £20, I declined his upgrade offer and stuck to the house wine at pennys under £15, good job I was not on a first date.
Starters of garlic mushrooms and calamaris were quite nice, no complaints there other than the large restaurant was empty and lacked atmosphere and I was feeling slightly guilty for feeding the wife cheap plonk.
For mains I ordered rib eys steak at £15 and the wife tuna steak. In fairness the tuna steak was nice, perfectly cooked and a fair size. My steak was terrible, it was small , ultra thin, greasy, and not at all what I was expecting. The chips were frozen and not dissimilar to the ones at Mc Donalds apart from Mc Donalds chips are not as overcooked.
When the bill came they had added 10% service not to the actual amount (£38)but to the amount before discounts, so the service charge was £5.80 which I refused to pay.
Not happy at all, perhaps this explains why we where the only ones there. Plenty of nicer restaurants nearby so no need to go here.

The last time I visited, the restaurant was extremely busy and the staff run ragged. This time provided a much more relaxed experience and therefore a much more enjoyable one. I was very impressed by the selection of breads offered (especially the squid ink bread) and found the herb-crusted lamb and the Baileys creme brulee to be delicious.

I visited the restaurant last week for a meal out with my friend. Fish is the pride of this restaurant and in fact the presentation was great and both our meals were delicious. The staff was very attentive too. I would certainly go there again.

Went on a Thursday night as part of the Times "3 for £10" deal. I have to say the food was superb - the duck and black pudding salad was particularly good, as was the salmon roulade. However, I would suggest getting there early and not being in a hurry, as the service was very slow and the staff were clearly run off their feet.

I was taken here for a spur of the moment meal out, and loved it. From the big bowl of blowsey white roses on the table, to the delicious food - sardines, then tur but, and excellent wine - it was a total pleasure. The restaurant was nearly empty on a weekday late evening, but the atmosphere was still lovely. The staff were unobtrusively attentive and knowledgeable.

This has been the best meal that we have had for long time, the food was superb, specially the fish. The service was very attentive and the recommendations were just spot on. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

This has to be the best Italian food I have ever eaten. The quality and quantity of food surpasses every other Italian I have ever visited - Excellent value for money. If you are a fish lover, this place is paradise. Try the Mussels and the halibut - cooked to perfection. If only it were closer to home!
