Our meal was a pre-theatre meal so all in all it was a little rushed but restaurant manager and the kitchen where spot on with the service. The manager made our night start off wonderful with his banter and got us in to a great mood for the rest of the night Now the food we can only say it was well presented well cooked and tasted fabulous and next time we will stay longer to appreciate as it deserves Thank You CASCADES

What a find in Blackpool, so glad we found this place the restaurant is amazing and the staff are excellent. The duck and steak we had was cooked to perfection one of the best we've had. This is a little hidden treasure in Blackpool and would highly recommend it. The chef is superb and even took time to chat with us. We were the last to leave but didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable in fact the opposite,I would pay more for this food - very reasonably priced. Can't wait to visit again.

Cascades Blackpool is a fantastic new venue. I was taken there for my birthday for a meal and the food was amazing 10/10 for every course, now you can not say that about many places well I certainly can't but now I can. The service was also excellent just enough contact and very professional. I have boasted about my meal to most people I see and cannot wait for my next visit.

Stayed at the hotel for weekend & ate on sunday on late check out deal- had the traditional sunday roast and a pud- what a way to finish the great weekend off! loved it huge portion of pork and loads really nice roast potatoes - even better than my mum makes! and veg. puds were to die for and looked really posh. Steve the cook- opps chef came and chatted with us and we felt really important and special- loved itwas a bril way to finish a mad weekend off and we will be back for sure- want to try the main menu

Cascades restaurant. We went on Mothering Sunday for their special menu at £22.50 per person. Not only excellent food perfectly cooked and presented (good sized portions) but friendly and efficient service from all the staff and very good value for the money. The best restaurant meal we have had in Blackpool and we have tried a few because we live here. We will be recommending it to all our guests and are looking forward to our next visit. John & Marilyn.

my wife & I stayed within the hotel for a long weekend and decided to eat at cascades from reading the menu on arrival on the first night and from the looks of the restaurant. We weren't to be disappointed! its only since getting back home and logging onto here and reading the other reviews I see what everyone hass been talking about- we feel the same- a place you just don't imagine to be there in Blackpool. very smart decor slick service and food that's out of this world. The owners are very lucky to have Stephen in there kitchen- we chatted to him on the Friday evening when we were in the bar afterwards and his passion for his food is mind blowing- were eaten in some very very good restaurants round the world and stephen's cuisine is equal to if not above these by far- I had to ask why Blackpool and not one of the more status cities and he simply smiled and said any one any where should be able to have the opportunity to experience food of exacting standards so why not. were so glad we found the place and they found him- we ate on the Saturday night too which means we have to come back not only for more of his food- he told us the menu was changing in a week or so but also to get out into Blackpool in the evening- we were more than happy to chat with Stephen both in the bar and at our table when he came round to say hello to all the diners.Nice touch. Were looking to return in may don't think I can wait any longer. thanks Stephen for the whole food experience and conversation and insight to the chef's world. appreciate it greatly.

came on saturday evening for some where different to eat in Blackpool. had seen a review on the restaurant in the local gazette saying how good it was and decided to try it out- the critic who must have eaten there was spot on with his review- nothing was to much trouble from the moment we walked in till we left great staff who were attentive but not obtrusive, who explained the menu gave suggestions and told us what people raved about- we went with his choice and he was sure right- the stroganoff was out of this world- never tasted one like it and by far the best one ive ever had- will be going back just for that let alone the puddings and starters! we were going to go off out into town after our meal but just felt so relaxed there stayed and enjoyed the place and got chatting to 2 other tables which isn't something we have ever done before but the atmosphere was just great and relaxed and chilled out and we all ended up talking about the place and the food. every one of us agreed that we would all be coming back soon and how nice it was to have a place like this in Blackpool at long last- food to die for great setting chilled out place but without the hovering waiters- I'm more than capable of pouring my wine etc- cascade has got it just right- pour the 1st glass and let us enjoy our own company without the constant top ups or hovering. 10 out of 10 for it all- as Arnie says- I'll be back!

Wow! came with some friends who had been recommended about here. What a place- chilled relaxed but with a buzz to the place. Informal but still very slick with attentive waiters and food to die for! I read the other reviews after we had been and can see what they mean- huge menu to choose from -we spilt between the set menu and the posher one! I had stuffed mushrooms which were divine but boy did I feel full even after just these but then bounced to the beef medallions with yet more mushrooms- nope I ain't got a mushroom fetish but just loved the sound of the meal and was most def not disappointed with it- The beef melted in my mouth and came with loads veg and sauce and yep I did finish it all!! The other half have the same starter but went for the stroganoff which was out this world- real creamy- yep ya guessed it more mushrooms! and she cleared the plate to. I passed on pudding -was to full but our friends had a couple of brule and chocolate mousse which looked like a work of art not a pudding- mobile phones out for pics! and yep we shared them all and just managed to finish them off. As we had coffee- me a pint! we kept saying are we really in Blackpool or some posh place in london? It isn't the kind of place you expect to find in Blackpool - no sight of chips or burgers on the menu!! but were told we could have hand cut ones if we wanted to but thought better not and so glad we didn't. Were only in Blackpool for a long weekend but was the highlight of the weekend for all of us and we will def be going back-9 out of 10- would have been a 10 but was still too full next morning for me breakfast!

Our first visit to Cascades was to celebrate my partner's birthday. He was surprised by my choice of venue, given it's location and his unfamiliarity with the restaurant. I had read reviews on Sugarvine and my gut reaction (no pun intended) had suggested it was going to be an enjoyable meal. I wasn't fully prepared for the experience we were to have. The meal was simply out of this world. The presentation, taste and utter enjoyment each dish gave us provided a mixture of excitement and total mmmmm satisfaction. We feasted off each other's plates all night. We ate the lemon chicken and strawberry salad and Caribbean prawn cocktail with lime for starter. The chef wouldn't reveal a secret ingredient in the unique prawn cocktail dressing but it was simply sumptuous and aptly presented in an authentic cocktail glass that was large enough to pass itself off as a light lunch. Lamb Noisettes and the infamous Beef Stroganoff brought gasps of pleasure both for the sheer portion size of the dish but the exquisite taste. I knew I shouldn't eat it all the stroganoff as dessert was still on the horizon but every mouthful tasted like the first and I didn't want it to be the last. It was only by strength of will that I allowed the dish to conquer me and I did not lick the plate clean in an undignified manner. The lamb was succulent and packed with flavour and simply melted in the mouth with the most satisfying feeling. My boyfriend who is fastidious about his calorie and fat content, even refused to leave the small amount of fat that naturally surrounds the Lamb and returned an empty plate. Throughout our meal, the Restaurant Manager who served us engaged with us in both a friendly and highly professional manner, recommending dishes, clarifying ingredients and attending to our every need. The Chef even came out to discuss the dessert options with us and readily accommodated a specific dietary requirement and provided a dessert for my boyfriend which was not on the menu. My dessert, the bread and butter pudding, completely lived up to my expectations having been heavily recommended by both the Manager and the Chef. The fresh vanilla sauce was a lovely light compliment to the heavenly experience of this wonderful comfort food. I wished I had bought a spare stomach with me so I could have finished every plate. I was reminded of my childhood conditioning and the idea of being forced to eat for my breakfast what I had just left on my plate, was a tempting thought, Could I have it for lunch as well Mum?? At £20 each for 3 courses, this was incredible value for money and I felt compelled to leave an above average tip to justify what we had enjoyed. Having trained and worked in the Hotel Catering Industry I can be a hyper critical guest at a dinner table and can readily distinguish a venue that has the whole package going for it. This is it and is what Blackpool has been waiting for. The ambience and decor has a relaxing glamour to it which is not too ostentatious but is a perfect complement to the food you will experience here. This fine dining experience will start with pre-dinner hors d'oerves in the bar while your select your meal from either the Table d'Hote or A' La Carte menu, and will finish with a personal escort to the front door by the Manager as you leave. The pleasure you enjoy throughout your evening will last beyond then and as I write, I am wondering how soon I can leave it before I return without it being an onset to an addiction. Table for 2 please!
