This place is amazing, dog lover or not, you are kept apart if you wish. A warm and friendly place to end your walk around the near by ogden water.
My wife is a coeliac (cant eat wheat/gluten etc) This can be serious and many pubs and even well know eateries find it difficult to understand the illness, not to mention cater for her needs. The causeway foot are excellent. We have both eaten much of the menu and chef will alter his recipe to exclude gluten.....This place ticks all the boxes!!

I have eaten in The Ritz and other good restaurants and The Causeway Foot is definitely up there. The food is really good and you get very generous portions. I bring my family there when ever I can. Highly recommended, unless your not keen on dogs. Tip Tip ask to sit in the restaurant area, its more cosy than te other areas.

Our Scottish terriers rate the Causeway Foot as the most civilised watering hole in West Yorkshire. They can bask in the warmth of their host's approval, safe in the knowledge that if anyone complains about them it will be the humans that get shown the door! That leaves us to enjoy the varied, and always delicious, food and excellent drink in comfort.
