17/02/2015- I bought a takeaway it was crap. The chips were cold, steak pudding was just about warm and dry. I asked for a large portion of chips and got a small portion in a tray? Oh yes the gravy would have been nice but it was cold. I would not recommend.

TerribleWhat has happened - this used to be the best chippy in Harwood - I have just had pie peas and gravy and the pie was like eating a brick - microwaved to oblivion I think!! Wont be going again

'Keep it simple' is a generalism that suits most things in life and thats what Clayton St chippy is about. A traditional treat where the only gimmick is the quality of the food. Coronation St crossed with Northcote. Word of warning .... Dingle alert.... don't engage the proprietor in football chat!
