Fantastic lunch, not expensive, superb celeriac pear soup with croutons, homemade bread, interesting wine list available BY THE GLASS,lovely house, friendly people.

go whenever we can have never had a bad meal yet the service is fantastic and the chef always seems to get it just perfect in my opinion the best restaurant in carlisle by far

Fantastic food the best i have ever tasted, The chef has an eye for detail in the dishes he creates, and pulls them off with perfection, probably the best steak in England. Service a little slow but a lot of effort was made to make our night enjoyable. top marks rot a top restaurant. Long may it continue.

Fantastic food, ideal venue for a romantic dinner for two or alternatively a group booking or lunch is good value Monday - Thursdays. Our favourite restaurant at the moment. We can highly recommend it!
