Very popular with locals for eating & drinking (Always a good sign). Good food and good ale in an atmosphere that is genuinely welcoming and not too much of a strain on the pocket. If you like to feel that you have been well fed - this is the place. Set in a scenic location in an old mill- village at the head of the Luddenden valley. Perfect for walkers. Worth finding, --Just head for the Windmills!!

Fabulous rural location on the edge of the moors. Excellent parking. Atmospheric "country pub" with open fires and a traditional cosy seating areas. Food home cooked and excellent with large portions. Friendly service. Perfect as a lunchtime venue(perhaps advisable to book ahead on Sunday)or an evening excursion.
Coffee served for walkers( good starting point for many beautiful walks)

It's rare that you feel totally comfortable and at ease, but I certainly felt so at The delvers. The food is honest to goodness home cooking and I love it!!!!!!
